Hello everyone,

My name is Linh, I’m 20 years old, and I’m studying English Language Education For me,
English has always been more than a school subject. It’s like learning how to swim,you feel
scared when you first jump into the water, but the more you practice, the more natural it
becomes

When I was younger, I didn’t have much self-esteem. I was shy and often afraid of being
judged, so I never thought I could stand in front of people and speak with confidence. But
one small moment changed me: the first time I watched a movie in English and realized I
could actually understand part of the conversation. It felt like a door opening, and I wanted to
keep walking through it.

The way I learn English is through comprehensible input. I enjoy reading, watching movies,
and listening to materials that I can understand and enjoy. By getting the feeling of the
language, I can handle real-life situations more easily, almost like training myself in small
steps until it becomes natural.

Because of this journey, I also learned the value of connection. I love studying with friends
and helping others, especially those who feel shy, because I know exactly how it feels to be
in their place. That’s also why I dream of becoming a teache ,not only to teach English, but to
help students build confidence and see their own progress.

So, to close, I’d like to say that English has been my way of growing. It turned my fear of
being judged into motivation. And now, it is guiding me toward my dream of becoming an
English teacher who can inspire others.
