Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop the computer system to improve stock
control of products in the warehouse and in the cold store and thus manage the exact
information, speeding up the processes in the two areas of the company CORPESMAR
SAC, which is dedicated to the development and export of hydrobiological products;
having as specific objectives to make a diagnosis on the current procedures of the
control of products in the company, to apply the software engineering for the
development of the computer system for the control of products in warehouse and in
cold storage, to define the security policies for the protection of information solving one
of the main productivity problems of CORPESMAR SAC.
In the development of the computer system the rup methodology was used, which aims
to guarantee the quality and efficiency of the software satisfying the user's needs, in
addition the PHP and JavaScript programming language that offer many advanced
features was used, in the storage of the MySQL data, a relational database manager was
used. The methodological framework is descriptive, because workers were surveyed to
obtain data and not experimental because only the development environments of the
system were analyzed.
In the system documentation, UML was the main support since, with the help of this
data modeling, different cases and diagrams were created for the design of the computer
system.
According to the results obtained, with the implementation of the computer system, the
processes that are carried out in the two areas, warehouse and cold storage, such as the
registration of a product (entry and exit), search for a product and handling were
successfully improved of the exact stock of the cold store in CORPESMAR SAC which
this was very beneficial for the users who are in charge of these two areas because the
process times minimized.
