I’m a student at the moment. I’m in my third year at university. I really enjoy
my student life.

I study Logistics. It’s an interesting major because it is related to transport

I have a close friend called Yen. She is kind and always supports me. We
often study and go out together.

convenient and saves time.

PART 2:
Task 4A – People in a café
In this photograph, I can see four people sitting around a table in a café. They look like friends or
colleagues because they seem very relaxed and happy. Three customers are sitting at the table,
and there is a man standing next to them who might be a waiter or the café owner. He is smiling
and talking to them.
On the table, I can see some drinks and plates of food, maybe sandwiches or desserts. The
atmosphere looks warm and friendly. In the background, there is a counter with coffee machines
and shelves. A staff member is working behind the counter.
The café looks modern and cozy, with soft lighting and wooden furniture. I think they are
enjoying their time together, maybe having a meeting or just catching up after work.
Task 4B – People camping
In this picture, I can see a group of people camping outdoors. They are in a natural area, probably
near a lake or in the mountains. The scenery looks beautiful, with trees and hills in the
background.
There is a tent set up in the middle of the picture, and some people are preparing things around it.
One person is taking items out of a car, while others seem to be setting up equipment or
organizing their belongings. They might be friends or a family spending the weekend together.
The weather looks sunny and pleasant. Everyone seems busy but happy. I think they are enjoying
nature and having a relaxing holiday away from the city.
PART 3: Learning a new skill
A: So, the young woman has just finished school and wants to learn a new skill before university.
There are several options here. What do you think about learning to drive?
B: I think learning to drive would be very useful. It gives her more independence, especially
when she starts university. She won’t have to rely on public transport or other people.
A: Yes, that’s true. It’s a practical skill for the future. Another option could be learning to cook. I
think this is important because when she goes to university, she might live away from home.
B: I agree. Cooking can help her save money and stay healthy instead of eating fast food all the
time.
A: I also see painting or art as an option. That could help her relax and reduce stress.
B: That’s a good point, but maybe it’s more of a hobby than a necessary skill.
A: What about learning music, like playing the piano?
B: It’s interesting and creative, but it takes a long time to become good at it. She might not have
enough time before university.
A: I also think learning teamwork skills, like joining a group project or club, would be helpful.
At university, she will need to work with other students.
B: Yes, I completely agree. Good communication and teamwork skills are extremely important
for academic success.
A: So, which do you think is the most useful?
B: In my opinion, learning to cook or learning to drive would be the most practical.
A: I agree, but if I had to choose one, I would say learning to cook is the best because she will
need it every day.
PART 4:
Would you like to learn a new skill? Why / Why not?
Yes, I would definitely like to learn a new skill. I think learning new skills helps us improve
ourselves and become more confident. For example, I would like to improve my communication
skills and maybe learn some basic coding in the future. As a university student, I believe new
skills can increase my job opportunities after graduation.
What was the most useful thing you learnt to do at school? Why?
I think the most useful thing I learned at school was how to work in a team. We often had group
projects, and I learned how to share ideas, listen to others and solve problems together. These
skills are very important, especially at university and in the workplace.
Do you prefer learning new things in a group or on your own? Why?
I prefer learning on my own because I can control my time and focus better. However, learning
in a group is also beneficial because I can exchange ideas and learn from others. So I think it
depends on the subject. For example, I prefer studying theory alone, but I like doing practical
tasks in a group.
Have you ever taught someone to do something? Why / Why not?
Yes, I have. I once helped my younger cousin with his English homework. I felt happy because I
could support him and share my knowledge. Teaching someone also helps me understand the
topic better.
Is it important to keep learning new things all your life? Why / Why not?
Yes, I strongly believe lifelong learning is very important. The world is changing quickly,
especially with new technology and digital tools. If we stop learning, we may fall behind. In
addition, learning new things keeps our minds active and helps us grow as a person.
