Group assignment for the course of Inclusiveness (SNIE 1012)
 Dear students read and provide proper answer for the blow listed questions.
 You are needed to do it in group of 6-8 members and the involvement of each
student in doing an assignment will be cross-checked through presentation.
 You are expected to submit your assignment report within one month and the
deadline will be on Meyaziya 30, 2014.
 Maximum weight of an assignment is 15%

1. What are the major factors highly excluded person with disabilities in Ethiopia from
education, economic, psychological and political development?
2. What are the diverse needs of persons with disabilities and vulnerabilities? Describe
them in terms of social, emotional, psychological, physical and economic.
3. Discuss and explain the following two terms; justify their similarities and differences.
 Prevention
 Rehabilitation
4. What is community based rehabilitation (CBR)?
 Provide proper definition for term CBR,
 Mention the stakeholders should be involved in the CBR and
 Describe the major objectives of CBR,
5. Mention different kinds of assistive technologies and describe their roles in the life of
persons with disabilities
6. Mention and discuss the international and national legal frameworks concerning the
rights of person with disabilities.
7. Discuss and explain the contribution of Inclusion for peace building, democracy
building and sustainable development by your own words.
8. How can we make inclusion a reality for persons with disabilities in Ethiopia? Discuss
your own contribution and the contribution of other stakeholders.
