GUIDELINES

Subject: Making a puppet show


I. Module Description
All class members design a puppet show for their audiences. Each group of 6
students is responsible for a separate puppet show of their choice. They will plan,
design and prepare all materials for managing the show. At the end of the project, it
is expected to have a complete script and puppets for their shows.
II. Project Objectives:
The project aims at:
- Creating a project-based learning activity for students to engage and learn
actively on their own.
- Helping students to develop soft skills including team-work skill, time
management skill, presentation skills, communication skills, etc. through the use of
role-play, script-writing, improvisation and puppet making.
III. Expected Products:
At the end of the project, the following products are expected to be accomplished.
- All information and materials for planning and implementing the project.
- A complete story script and proper set of puppets for the show.
- A complete puppet show
IV. Assessment
• Group work: 50%
• Individual work: 50%

VI. Note
- All group members have to take part in designing the contents of the project.
You need to write down the names of the members who make the original
materials and the names of the ones who revise the materials.
- All your work must be ORIGINAL, any sign of plagiarism will lead to
PENALTY which means you will automatically fail the course.
