Late one night, I heard a strange noise outside my window.

I felt worried because I did not know


what it was. The house was very quiet, and the noise made me feel frightened.

Suddenly, I heard the sound again. I slowly looked out of the window to see what was there. Then I
discovered a small possum near the rubbish bin. It was making the noise.

I felt relieved when I saw it was only an animal. I went back to bed and soon fell asleep.
