Greetings in the name of the Lord.

I am respectfully writing to express my strong interest in applying for the position of Teacher
I for Junior and Senior High School in the Department of Education, Schools Division of
Surigao del Sur, for the upcoming school year and beyond; which was posted on your official
website. I am highly motivated to serve in public education and to contribute meaningfully to
the academic growth and holistic development of learners under your division.

I graduated as Magna Cum Laude from Philippine Normal University-Mindanao, holding a


degree in Bachelor of Filipino Education in 2023, and a Licensed Professional Teacher who
passed the Licensure Examination in May 2024. My academic preparation has equipped me
with strong competencies in instructional planning, assessment, communication, and
research-based teaching practices aligned with the Philippine Professional Standards for
Teachers.

My most recent professional experience was as a Full-Time Instructor at Saint Joseph


Institute of Technology, where I handle college-level Filipino courses. I also served as a
Learning Resources Writer during the pilot implementation of the K to 10 MATATAG
Curriculum and volunteered as a teacher in the National Learning Camp 2024. These
experiences strengthened my commitment to learner-centered instruction, inclusive
education, and collaborative work in support of improved learning outcomes.

I am confident that my academic background, licensure, graduate studies, and teaching


experience will allow me to contribute meaningfully to the mission of the Department of
Education and to the continuous improvement of public education in the division.
