Good morning respected Principal, teachers, parents, and my dear friends,
It feels like just yesterday that we walked into this school as kindergarteners—tiny, nervous,
holding our parents’ hands tightly, some of us crying, some of us smiling, all of us unaware that
this place would become our second home. Our school bags were bigger than us, our shoes
were always slightly loose, and our biggest worry was if our crayons crossed the line while
colouring. We went from getting stars and smiley faces on the back of our hands, to getting
golden stars on the chart paper next to our names, and now to receiving our admit cards to write
the board exams.
From dreaming about what the new block would look like, to realizing there would be no floor
beyond it to discover.
It is here that we saw our first friendships, our first disagreements, our first achievements, and
our first failures. The uniforms we once complained about, the bells we waited for, and the
classrooms we rushed out of—these are the little moments that our hearts will never forget.
To our teachers—you taught us to spell our names, then stood by us as we found our identities .
Thank you for your endless patience. You saw us at our worst and still believed in our best. You
scolded us when we were wrong, guided us when we were lost, and encouraged us when we
felt like giving up. Many of your lessons were not written on the board, but they are written in our
hearts. From holding us tightly in place to cover us with makeup during annual day, to finally
letting go of our hands today. We will never forget you for the indelible mark you have left on us.
To my dear classmates—thank you for being my childhood, my teenage years, and my
memories. We grew up together. We shared lunch boxes, laughter, tears, exam stress, last-
minute revisions, and dreams about the future and sometimes even answers during tests. We
argued, we competed, we supported each other—and through it all, we became a family. And
yes, we learned that no matter how serious exams were, the stress somehow disappeared the
moment they ended!
Wether we’ve spent 14, 8, 5 or 2 years here….how do we say goodbye to the home that so
fundamentally made us who we are? To the first line that forms the introduction for ourselves, to
our childhood
Year after year we watched our seniors with awe as they walked across this stage in these
same gowns, hugged their families. friends and teachers and step out of those gates for the last
time, dreaming of the day it would be our turn. Today, look around….we are wearing the
gowns…and this moment is ours
Today, as we stand at the edge of a new beginning….we are the Class of 2025-26—ready to
face the world, carrying dreams in our hearts and memories in our hands
From walking into this auditorium as students of bhavans, we are going to walk out as alumni
No matter where life takes us, a part of us will always remain here—in these corridors, in the
morning assemblies, in the playgrounds, and in the memories we carry within us.
So today, this is not a goodbye.
This is a thank you—to this school, our teachers, and to each other.
Because some places don’t stay behind when we leave…
They stay within us, forever.
Thank you
