DATA PRESENTATION AND ANALYSIS

4.1 Presentation and Analysis of Data

The total number of fifty two (52) questionnaire were distribute to the sample respondents,

forty five (45) were properly filled and returned.

Section A: Personal Data

Table 4.1.1 16 respondents representing 35.6 workers between the age of 20-29 years, 19

respondents representing 42.2 %workers between the ages of 30-39 Years, 5 respondents

representing 11.1% workers between 40-49 years while 5 respondents representing 11.1%

staffs of the company between 50 years and above.

Table 4.1.2 shows that 29 respondents representing 64.4% are male while 16 respondents

representing 35.6% are female.

Table 4.1.4 indicates that 16 respondents representing 35.6% staffs that have 1-10 years of

working experience, 20 respondents representing 44.4% workers has 11-20 years of working

experience while 9 respondents representing 20% staffs of the company has 21-30 years of

work experience.

Table 4.1.5 shows that 2 respondents representing 4.4% staff are SSCE holders, 9

respondents representing 20% workers are NCE holders, 5 respondents representing 11.1%

OND holders, 10 respondents representing 22.2% HND holders. 10 respondents representing

22.2% BSC holders while 9 respondents representing 20% MSC holders.

Table 4.1.6 reveals that 19 respondents representing 42.2% strongly agreed that efficient

inventory control lead to reduction of cost in an organization, 16 respondents representing

35.6% agreed, 6 respondents representing 13.3% undecided while 4 respondents representing

8.9% disagreed.
