7. Are you looking forward to working? 15. What was your dream job when you
were young?

8. What technology do you use when you 16. Have you changed your mind on your
study/work? dream job?

1. What subjects are you studying? done

I’m studying Linguistics, which includes subjects like phonetics, syntax, semantics, and
sociolinguistics. Most of my courses focus on how language works and how people use it in
real-life communication.

2. Do you like this subject? done

Yes, absolutely. I find Linguistics fascinating because it helps me understand how language
shapes the way people think and interact. It’s also very practical since it improves my
communication and analytical skills.

3. Why did you choose to study that subject? done

I chose Linguistics because I’ve always been curious about languages. When I was younger, I
often wondered why people say things differently and how meaning can change depending
on context. Linguistics answers all of those questions.

4. Do you want to change your major?

No, I don’t. I feel that Linguistics suits my strengths and interests perfectly. I enjoy both the
theoretical and practical aspects, so I have no intention of switching to another major.

5. Do you prefer to study in the mornings or in the afternoons?

I prefer studying in the mornings because my mind is clearer and I can concentrate better. I
usually start with reading or writing tasks when my energy is high.

6. How much time do you spend on your studies each week?

On average, I spend around 25 to 30 hours a week on lectures, assignments, and self-

study. Some weeks are heavier, especially when I have research projects or exams.

7. Are you looking forward to working?

Yes, I’m really looking forward to it. I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned in university to
real-life situations, especially in fields like language teaching, translation, or communication
research.

8. What technology do you use when you study?

I mainly use my laptop, online dictionaries, linguistic analysis software, and sometimes AI-
powered tools to check grammar or analyse speech sounds. These tools save me a lot of
time.

9. What changes would you like to see in your school?

I’d love to see more practical courses, such as workshops on speech analysis or real
fieldwork projects. It would be great if the school invested more in modern linguistic
software and recording equipment.

10. What work do you do?

I’m currently a student, but I work part-time as a language tutor, helping students improve
their English pronunciation and writing skills.

11. Why did you choose to do that job?

I chose it because it’s closely related to Linguistics. Working as a tutor allows me to apply
what I learn in class, especially phonetics and grammar, while gaining hands-on teaching
experience.

12. Do you like your job?

Yes, I do. It’s rewarding to see students improve, and the job also helps me reinforce my
own knowledge. Plus, the schedule is flexible, so it fits well with my studies.

13. Do you want to change to another job?

Not at the moment. I feel satisfied with tutoring, but in the future I might switch to a more
professional role, like becoming a lecturer or working in the communication industry.

14. Do you miss being a student?

Well, I’m still a student now, but I think I will miss student life in the future because it’s a
time when I can explore, learn freely, and meet many interesting people.

15. What was your dream job when you were young?

When I was a child, I wanted to become a teacher, because I admired the way my teachers
explained things clearly. Maybe that’s why I’m studying Linguistics now.

16. Have you changed your mind on your dream job?

Not really. My dream job has evolved, but it’s still related to teaching and languages. Now
I’m more interested in becoming a university lecturer or a researcher in Linguistics.

 And explain what you want to know more about it

The Elephant - one of the biggest TERRESTRIAL / LAND animalS in thE world - often see
it on TV channelS - animals world or Geography channels (NATIONAL
GEOGRAPHIC) whiCh make it fascinating to me - not only the size - but also its intelligence
and strength - elephants often help people - on doing heavy work like lifting - a number of
things - wood - jungles – moreover, they also maintain the balance of the ecosystem - eating
food moving from one place to another - endangered - poaching - what CONSERVATION
EFFORTS/ MEASURES/ ACTIONS ARE MADE/ TAKEN to protect them - All in all, I think
that the elephant brings a lot of benefits for people → I THINK ELEPHANTS ARE
WONDERFUL/ FASCINATING/ INTRIGUING/ INTERESTING ANIMALS/ SPECIES AND I
WOULD LOVE TO KNOW/ LEARN MORE ABOUT THEM

Part 3:

Person 2. Why are some people more willing to protect wild animals than others?

about natural? - could become extinct in the future - grow up loving animals - want to
protect them - some dont care much - dont affect their lives - realiZe how important they
are

 Social friends/ acquaintances (a wide social circle) → these connections can go a

long way: in the future, if they need support from a specific person, they can go
through their list of friends

other people, like parents or other family members?

No i dont think so - both relationships are essential - first of all, provide oppors for children
to learn how to share, interact with people - of the same age - for eg: more comfortable
when they tell secrets with their friends THAN TO THEIR PARENTS - on the other hand,
provide unconditional love and support - guide children → provide guidance and
security - show children the right way to go +

→ In order to grow comprehensively/ holistically (toàn diện), children should pay

attention to both relationships / learn to appreciate and nurture each and
every relationship
