PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
TD Bank – NJ, USA
Java Full-Stack Developer December 2024 – Present
Responsibilities:
All functionalities were implemented using Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, with Maven build, deployment, and
configuration scripts created for automation.
Utilized Hibernate and SQL for communication with SQL Server databases and developed Spring Boot microservices to
deliver enterprise software solutions.
Involved in decomposing a monolithic application into multiple microservices using Spring Boot and Kafka, enabling
communication through synchronous protocols such as HTTP and REST in a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Implemented Spring RESTful web services producing JSON, migrated existing applications into a microservices architecture
using REST APIs, and developed proof-of-concepts for authentication and authorization with OAuth2 and JWT-based
tokenization.
Additionally, designed Java APIs to integrate with Amazon S3 for storing and retrieving media files, and worked extensively
across the frontend, business, and persistence tiers using the Spring Framework.
Contributed to designing and implementing MVC design patterns for the web tier and developed custom components
using J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Java 8.
Built components to extract and load data from EPA websites using Spring and Hibernate.
Worked with Jenkins pipelines to build and deploy microservices into Docker containers, which were then orchestrated
and managed with Kubernetes.
Followed Agile practices including pair programming, test-driven development, and Scrum ceremonies.
Designed and optimized MongoDB collections with appropriate indexing for performance and managed Kafka clusters with
partitioning and replication strategies.
Performed unit testing using JUnit and Mockito, conducted code reviews, and ensured high-quality deliverables. My
responsibilities also included production support, API development using AWS Lambda for serverless computing, and
selecting appropriate AWS services based on compute, data, and security requirements.
Integrated AWS with enterprise infrastructure, utilized Log4j for logging at multiple levels (error, debug, info, warnings),
and managed version control through Git with pull request reviews.

Java Full-Stack Developer August 2020 – Nov 2023
Responsibilities:
• Engaged in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, design, coding,
testing, deployment, and maintenance, while implementing project functionalities using Agile Scrum methodology.
• Actively participated in Scrum activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• On the backend, worked with J2EE technologies, leveraging Spring 4.0, Spring MVC, and Spring Core annotations for
Dependency Injection (DI), and further enhanced application development using Spring Boot.
• Designed and developed database schemas in MySQL, including stored procedures, and implemented persistence layers
using Hibernate ORM with appropriate mappings.
• Built Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs and Apache Kafka, following microservices architecture principles, and
deployed scalable solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Utilized core Java concepts such as Collections Framework, Exception Handling, I/O, Multithreading, JDBC, Generics, and
Java 8 features like lambda expressions and streams.
• Contributed to development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular 8.
• Developed reusable, interoperable modules with RESTful services and implemented containerization with Docker, along
with orchestration using Kubernetes, ECS, and Terraform.
• Responsible for managing deployments, scaling, and monitoring containerized applications.
• Wrote JUnit test cases with Mockito, created Selenium WebDriver scripts using Java, and automated builds and
deployments using Maven and Jenkins in CI/CD environments.
