19CM BUNNY & 7-PIECE WARDROBE

SEWING PATTERN & TUTORIAL

 Prepare two pieces of
fabric and trace the body
template onto one of
them. I use linen with a
weight of 200g.

Pin the two pieces of fabric

together.
 Sew only the front part
(start the seam about 0.5
cm above the head line),
cut fabric about 0.5 cm
outside the outline.

Trace the second body

piece from the template.
Mark the center of the
head on the fabric. Cut
about 0.5 cm outside the
outline.
 Place both pieces of the
bunny's body right sides
together. Spread the fabric
at the top of the seam, as
shown in the picture, and
align it with the marked
center point of the second
body piece.

Next, match both body

pieces together and pin
them in place.
 Sew the pieces together,
leaving a small opening on
the side—just as shown in
the picture.

Make small cuts around

the head and near the
neck.
 Turn it inside out.

Evenly stuff the bunny's

head and the upper part of
the neck. I use viscose
filling, but other types will
work as well.
Prepare a single strand of
light brown embroidery
floss (embroidery floss
consists of 6 strands) and
thread it through the
needle as shown in the
picture. Also, prepare
small beads; I use glass
crystals about 3-4mm in
size.

Insert the needle

symmetrically between the
seam line, as shown in the
picture.
Leave a small loop on one
side, then thread the
needle and floss through
it.

Gently pull the thread to

the side.
 Next, insert the needle a
little lower, as shown in the
picture.

Do the same thing about

two more times, slightly
shortening the length of
the stitch each time, This
will shape the nose, which
narrows towards the
bottom.
 Next, bring the needle
below, near the seam, as
shown in the picture.
 Next, insert the needle
where the nose ends, at
the center of the seam,
and bring the needle out
from the side, as shown in
the picture.

Next, insert the needle into

the same spot and bring it
out where the bunny's arm
will be sewn. Finish the
stitch there.
Finish the stitch there.

Pin the spots where the

eyes will be sewn.
 Insert the needle into the
spot for one eye, and then
pass it through to the spot
for the other eye.

Leave a loop.
 Thread a bead onto the
needle from one side.

Insert the needle and pass

it through the loop you
created.
Gently tighten the thread,
then add the second bead
and return to the spot of
the first eye.

Pass the bead through

again to make sure it’s
secure.
Do the same with the
second eye.

Insert the needle from the

side or the back of the
bunny's head.

the eyes with thread,
please refer to the “eye-
embroidery-pattern”
tutorial included with your
purchase.
Insert the needle into the
same spot, then bring it
out near where the
bunny's arm will be sewn.

Finish the stitch.

Prepare four pieces of
fabric. Trace the leg
template onto two of
them.

Pin the fabrics together to

prepare them for sewing.
 Sew and trim the excess
fabric.

Turn it inside out and stuff

it.
 Prepare four pieces of
fabric. Trace the arm
template onto two of
them.

Pin the fabrics together to

prepare them for sewing.
Sew it, leaving an unsewn
section as shown in the
photo.

Turn it inside out and stuff

it.
 Sew with an invisible
stitch..

Fold the bottom of the

fabric inward by about 0.8
cm, as shown in the photo.
You can use an iron to
press it.
Insert the legs inside and
pin them in place.

Sew.
 Start stuffing the body.
Continue stuffing the body
until it is firm enough to
hold its shape. Hand sew
the side using an invisible
stitch.

Insert the needle from the

side, as shown in the
picture.
 Sew the arm in place as
shown in the picture.

Trace the bunny's ear

template onto the fabric.
Prepare a second piece of
fabric for the back and pin
them together.
 Sew them together and
trim the excess fabric.

Turn it inside out. Fold the

fabric edge inward by
about 0.7 cm. Sew.
Fold the ear in half.

Sew.
Pin the ears onto the
bunny's head.

Sew the ears onto the

bunny's head.
Sew the ears onto the
bunny's head.

Sew the ears onto the

bunny's head.
 If you choose the second
version of the bunny's ear,
trace the template on the
fabric. Prepare a second
piece of fabric for the back
and pin them together.

Sew them together, leaving

about 1.8 cm unsewn.
Trim the excess fabric.
 Turn it inside out and sew
the opening closed with an
invisible stitch.

Pin the ears onto the

bunny's head.
Sew the ears on
symmetrically.
You can paint the cheeks
with a pink pencil. I use a
regular colored pencil.
Classic dress
 Prepare two pieces of
cotton fabric. On the
wrong side of one, trace
the Basic Dress template.

Pin the fabrics together

with the right sides facing
each other.
 Sew only the top part,
leaving the sides and
bottom unsewn. Trim the
excess fabric—about 3mm
from the top edge and
around 5mm on the sides.

Make small cuts on all

curved edges.
Cut off the corners at the
straps.

Prepare a piece of fabric

measuring 32x6,5 cm.
 Finish the edges of the
fabric with a zigzag stitch
along the sides and bottom
to prevent fraying.

Press the bottom edge of

the fabric up by about 0.5
cm using an iron.
 Sew.

Press the sides of the

fabric in by about 0.5 cm.
 Set the stitch length to the
maximum (for me, it's 4).
Sew two parallel stitches
along the top edge— the
first about 0.8 cm from the
edge, and the second
about 0.6 cm below the
first.

Pull the two top threads to

gather the fabric and
create ruffles.
 Evenly gather the ruffles
and adjust the length of
the fabric to match the top
of the dress.

Pin the ruffled bottom of

the dress to one part of the
top (the one with the
marked lines), with the
right sides facing each
other.
 Remember to align the
bottom of the dress so that
it reaches the marked line
on the side, about 0.5 cm
from the side edge of the
fabric.

Sew along the line marked

with the marker.
 Remove the threads used
to gather the fabric for the
ruffles.

Pin the edge of the top of

the dress with pins.
Sew along the line marked
with the marker.

Trim the corner.

Do the same on the other
side.
 Turn the top inside out.
Fold the bottom edge
inward by about 0.5 cm.
You can use an iron to
press the fold.

Pin.
Sew along the edge using
an invisible hand stitch.
Sew the straps together on
the wrong side of the
dress.

Prepare two pieces of

Velcro. I cut them from a
larger strip of Velcro tape.
 Optionally, you can use
temporary fabric glue in a
stick (I use the Prym brand)
to keep the Velcro in place
while sewing.

Place the Velcro strips on

the dress.
Sew the Velcro strips onto
the dress.

Sew the Velcro strips onto

the dress.
Jumpsuit
 Prepare two pieces of
cotton fabric. On the
wrong side of one, trace
the jumpsuit template.

Pin the two fabrics

together with the right
sides facing each other.
 Sew, leaving an unsewn
section of about 3 cm on
the leg, as shown in the
picture. Cut about 0.5 cm
from the marked line.

Trim all the corners,

including those on the legs
and straps.
Make small cuts along all
the curved edges, along
the neckline and around
the armholes.

Make cuts in the corners

of the leg openings as well.
 Make cuts in the crotch
area of the pants as well.

Turn the jumpsuit right

side out and press with an
iron.
Hand sew the leg opening
using an invisible stitch.

Prepare two pieces of

Velcro. I cut them from a
larger strip of Velcro tape.
Optionally, you can use
temporary fabric glue in a
stick (I use the Prym brand)
to keep the Velcro in place
while sewing.
Place the Velcro strips on
the jumpsuit.

Sew the Velcro strips onto

the jumpsuit.
Sew the Velcro strips onto
the jumpsuit.

Fold the jumpsuit as shown

in the picture, deciding
which side will be the
inside. Pin the leg openings
with pins.
Begin sewing the pant leg
of the jumpsuit.

Continue, moving toward

the second pant leg.
Now sew above.

Finish the stitch.

 Sew the straps.

Turn the jumpsuit right

side out. You can also turn
out the pant legs.
Skirt
 Prepare a piece of cotton
fabric measuring 30x8 cm.

Sew the top and bottom

edges of the fabric with a
zigzag stitch to prevent
fraying.
Fold the fabric in half and
pin it with pins. Of course,
do this on the wrong side
of the fabric.

Sew along the edge about

0.5 cm from the edge and
secure the edges with a
zigzag stitch.
 Turn one edge of the
fabric inward by about 0.5
cm. You can use an iron to
make it easier. Pin it in
place.

Sew along the entire edge

of the fabric.
 Of course, all seams
should be on the wrong
side of the fabric.

Fold the top edge of the

fabric inward by about 0.9
cm. You can press it with
an iron to make it easier.
Use pins if needed.
 Sew close to the edge,
leaving about 2.5 cm
unsewn. It's best to leave
the opening near the seam.

Prepare a piece of elastic

about 0.5 cm thick. Use a
small safety pin.
Thread the elastic through
the opening you left in the
seam.

Determine the appropriate

length of the elastic, cut
off the excess, and sew the
ends together as shown in
the picture.
Hand-sew the remaining
opening closed.
Blouse
 Prepare two pieces of
cotton fabric. On the back
of one piece, trace the
blouse pattern.

Pin the fabric pieces

together, with the front
sides facing each other.
 Sew the pieces together,
leaving about 3 cm unsewn
at the bottom.
Cut about 0.4 cm from the
drawn line.

Trim all the corners.

 Make small cuts around
the armholes and neckline.

Turn it to the other side.

 Press it with an iron.

Hand-sew the remaining

opening with an invisible
stitch.
 Prepare two pieces of
Velcro. I cut them from a
larger strip of Velcro tape.
Optionally, you can use
temporary fabric glue in a
stick (I use the Prym brand)
to keep the Velcro in place
while sewing.

Attach the Velcro to the

blouse.
Sew the Velcro onto the
blouse.

Sew the straps by hand.

 Press it with an iron.

Turn the blouse right side

out.
Tunic Dress & Bow & Shoes
 Prepare two pieces of
cotton fabric. On the back
of one piece, trace the
Tunic dress pattern.

Pin the fabric pieces

together, with the front
sides facing each other.
 Sew the pieces together,
leaving about 3 cm unsewn
at the bottom.
Cut about 0.4 cm from the
drawn line.

Trim all the corners.

 Make small cuts around
the armholes and neckline.

Turn it to the other side

and iron.
 Hand-sew the remaining
opening with an invisible
stitch.

Prepare two pieces of

Velcro. I cut them from a
larger strip of Velcro tape.
Optionally, you can use
temporary fabric glue in a
stick (I use the Prym brand)
to keep the Velcro in place
while sewing.
Attach the Velcro to the
Tunic dress.

Sew the Velcro onto the

Tunic dress.
Sew the straps by hand.

Sew the straps by hand.

Turn the blouse right side
out.
 Prepare a small piece of
cotton fabric, fold it in
half, and trace the bow
pattern on the wrong side
of the fabric.

Sew the fabric, leaving a

small section unsewn, as
shown in the picture.
Cut about 0.4 cm from the
line.

Turn it to the right side

and hand-sew the opening
with an invisible stitch.
Insert the needle with the
thread as shown in the
picture.

Tighten the thread.

 Wrap the thread around
several times and finish the
stitch.

You can sew a piece of

ribbon if you want the bow
to be a bow tie.
 Prepare a small piece of
felt.

Fold it in half and trace the

shoe pattern as shown in
the picture.
Trim about 0.4 cm from
the outline.

Turn it to the right side.
