Introduction to Our Topic
In selecting the issue of the Impact of Vaping on Young People, our team chose to explore the social,
health, and economic dimensions of vaping in modern society. Vaping has rapidly increased in
popularity among teenagers and young adults. While some consider it a safer alternative to
traditional smoking, many studies suggest that it still leads to nicotine addiction, health risks, and
negative social consequences. This has created a global debate about whether governments should
strictly regulate vaping products to protect young people.

Our project is based on the question: “To what extent should governments regulate vaping to
reduce its social, health, and economic impacts on young people?” This question allows us to
analyze different viewpoints and to evaluate how effective various levels of regulation can be.
Aims and Objectives of the Project
The main aim of our team project is to investigate the real-life impacts of vaping and to determine
how far government intervention is necessary. We aim to raise awareness among students and the
local community, evaluate existing policies, and propose practical solutions that can reduce vaping
among youth. Our project will consider medical evidence, social influences, economic factors, and
ethical arguments in order to reach a balanced conclusion.
Research Plan and Methodology
To complete our project at an A* standard, we will use both primary and secondary research
methods. Secondary research will involve studying credible sources such as World Health
Organization reports, government policies, and academic articles about vaping. This will help us
understand global trends and existing regulations.
Primary Research Methods
1 Conduct physical face-to-face interviews with doctors to understand health impacts of vaping.
2 Interview teachers and school counselors to explore social and behavioral effects among
students.
3 Talk to local shopkeepers about sales of vaping products and enforcement of age restrictions.
4 Carry out anonymous surveys among students to measure attitudes, awareness, and reasons for
vaping.

5 Collect real-world observations about vaping advertisements and availability in the local area.
Through these methods we will gather real evidence from our own community rather than relying only
on online information. This will make our project original, practical, and relevant to our local context.

Team Outcome and Awareness Campaign
As part of our final team outcome, we will create informative posters and educational booklets. These
materials will be used to spread awareness in our school and community about the risks of vaping.
The posters will present clear facts about health effects, addiction, and social influence, while the
booklets will provide more detailed guidance for students and parents.
Planned Actions
1 Design and display awareness posters around the school.
2 Prepare and distribute informational booklets to students.
3 Deliver a formal presentation to upper secondary students.
4 Use social media platforms to share surveys and awareness messages.
5 Evaluate the impact of our campaign through follow■up questionnaires.
Ethical Considerations
Throughout our research we will follow ethical guidelines. All surveys will remain anonymous and
participation will be voluntary. Interviews will only be conducted with permission and no personal data
will be published. We will avoid photographing individuals and ensure that all information is used
responsibly and respectfully.
Conclusion
In conclusion, our team project aims to thoroughly explore the impacts of vaping on young people
and to evaluate how far governments should regulate it. By using interviews, surveys, posters,
booklets, and detailed research, we will create a well■rounded and evidence■based project. The

final outcome will present a clear, balanced judgement on the most effective ways to reduce vaping
and protect the health and future of young people.
