Modalities relating to projects
1. All the students must follow the timeline prescribed for the topic selection, submission and
presentation of projects.
• Last date for submission of Project Topic: 20 Feb 2026
• Last date for change of Project Topic: 20th March 2026
• Last date for submission of final Project: 30th April 2026
• Tentative date of Project Presentation: 4-9 May 2026

2. The project must be the original work of your own; plagiarism is strictly prohibited. A very
serious penalty, including awarding “0” marks, shall be considered in case of plagiarism.
3. The components, i.e., project and presentation, are both assessed during the presentation
process, wherein the examiner asks questions to satisfy himself regarding your understanding
of the project and, thus, forms an impression about your contribution, originality, etc., in the
project. Therefore, a standalone project has no value unless it has been presented.
4. Joint projects are not allowed.
5. Moot Memorial will not be accepted as a project.
6. There is no page limit; however, an average project should consist of 8 to 12 pages,
including a bibliography.
7. Project topics and related issues must be confined to the syllabus prescribed for the
current semester.
8. Case comments, critical comments on a contemporary issue, essays, research articles, etc,
shall be accepted as a project
