MS WORD PRACTICAL E1

1. Create a new document


Open Microsoft Word and create a new blank document.

2. Save the document

Save the document with the name "Practice 1" in a folder of your choice.

3. Change the font style

Type your name in the document and change the font to "Arial" with a size of 16.

4. Bold and underline text

Type the sentence "This is my first Word exercise."

Make the text bold and underline it.

5. Change text alignment

Type the sentence "I am learning how to use MS Word."

Align this sentence to the center of the page.

6. Insert a bulleted list


Create a bulleted list of three of your favourite hobbies.

7. Change line spacing

Type the following text:

"MS Word is a powerful word-processing tool."

Change the line spacing of the text to 1.5.

8. Insert a picture

Insert any image from your computer into the document.

9. Add a page number

Insert page numbers at the bottom center of each page.

10. Save and close the document

Save the changes to the document and close Microsoft Word.




11. Create a new document and name it “PRACTICE 2”

Create a table with 3 columns and 4 rows, and type any information into it.

12. Change text color

Type the sentence "MS Word is fun!" and change the text color to blue.

13. Apply text highlighting


Highlight the sentence "MS Word is fun!" in yellow.

14. Insert a header

Insert a header at the top of the page with your full name.
15. Insert a footer

Insert a footer at the bottom of the page with the current date.

16. Use Find and Replace

Use the "Find" feature to locate the word "Word" in your document and replace it with
"Document."

17. Change page orientation

Change the orientation of your document from portrait to landscape.

18. Insert a hyperlink

Insert a hyperlink for the text "Click here" that links to [Link].
19. Use the spell check feature

Intentionally type a word incorrectly and use the spell check feature to correct it.

20. Insert a text box

Insert a text box anywhere on the page and type your name inside the box.

21. Send the two documents to cybermoja1@[Link].
