Sub: Basic Course for Ranger Leaders [Residential Module] – 02nd to 08th April 2026.
Madam / Sir,
We are pleased to inform you that The Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Training Centre, Pachmarhi is going
to organize the “Basic Course for Ranger Leaders “scheduled to be held from 02.04.2026 to 08.04.2026 at
National Training Centre, Pachmarhi.
The details of the course are as follows:
1 Name Basic Course for Ranger Leaders [Residential Module]
2 Purpose The over all purpose of the Unit Leaders training is to develop Unit Leaders who
are skilled in working effectively with youth and other adults in Guiding.
Also to support weaker states and to promote Rangring, foster membership
growth
3 Dates 02.04.2026 to 08.04.2026 (Seven days)
4 Venue The Bharat Scouts and Guides National Training Centre, Pachmarhi Madhya
Pradesh - 461881
5 Arrival On 01.04.2026 evening or before 09:00 AM. on 02.04.2026: Registration at
09:00 AM on 02.04.2026 in proper uniform. Late comers will not be admitted for
any reason.
6 Departure 08.04.2026– afternoon (Accordingly return journey reservation may be done)
7. How to Pachmarhi is located on the Mumbai Jabalpur route (Between Itarsi and
reach Jabalpur Station). Pipariya is the nearest Railway station from Pachmarhi. The
distance from Pipariya to Pachmarhi is 56 k.m. Buses are available from
Pipariya to Pachmarhi. Number of private jeeps are also available on nominal
rate. The Bharat Scouts & Guides, NTC is just 5 k.m. from Pachmarhi bus
stand. Local Conveyance available to reach National Training Centre from
Pachmarhi Bus Stand. Those who are coming by private Jeep can directly
come upto Bharat Scouts & Guides, NTC Queenie Park.
8 S/G The contribution of Rs.3500/- (Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred Only) is for the
Welfare Scout/Guide Welfare Fund, which will cover the costs of boarding, lodging, and training
Fund materials; this amount must be remitted online.
NO CASH will be accepted at the time of registration. Bank Slip/UTR Number and Date.
The deposit slip should be submitted along with the application form or at the time of
registration.

9 Subsidy Food subsidy at Rs. 70/- per head per day and travelling expenses maximum at Rs.

550/- or actual, whichever is less, will be reimbursed on receipt of Grand-in-Aid
from the Government. Participants have to submit bank details.
10 Eligibility Those who have completed 21 years of age & should preferably possess
degree in any discipline on equivalent qualification.
11 Weather 20°C to 37°C
12 What to Usual camp kit, 2 Sets of Uniform as per APRO III.
Bring General Camp Kit: Mosquito net/Odomos tube, personal medicines, bedding,
torch, chart paper, pen, pencil, marker /Sketch pen, knotting rope etc. are
required.
Reference Books : APRO Part I, & III, Scheme of Training (G), Job Profile,
Scouting for Boys, WAGGGS & Life story of B.P., Rules Book, Girl Guiding in
India ,Milestone,etc.
13 Aadhaar The Aadhaar Number is compulsory. Photocopy of Aadhaar is to be submitted
Number at the time of Registration.
14 UID Register your unit on Membership Registration portal of BSG –
[Link] . UID no. is mandatory.
15 Self- Will sent to the candidates directly through email along with selection letter.

16 Last Date Application should reach NTC on or before 10.03.2026
The application has to be submitted to the National Training Centre with all the necessary
documents duly recommended by concerned State officials on or before 10.03.2026
Candidate should apply through [Link] subsequently the same will be approved
/rejected by the concerned state association.
Participants SHOULD NOT proceed for the course without receiving the “FINAL
INFORMATION LETTER” from National Training Centre. Participants bringing application by hand will
not be admitted.
State Training Commissioners are requested to utilize this opportunity and facilitate candidates
for the course.
