Greetings from MAANSAMITHRA Dear Sir/Madam We are writing to you to from Maanasamithra, a project implemented by Parents of Autistic and

Intellectually Disabled at Pollachi for future planning exclusively for adult autistic and intellectually disabled persons. The project location is at No. 11/12, V.K.S Layout, A Sangampallayam, Pollachi 642 002, Coimbatore District, Tamilnadu,India. We have already constructed a day school . We have formed a trust for this noble purpose and registered in the name of PMAID (Parents Movement For Autistic and Intellectually Disabled) with our Headquarter at Chennai- Address No. 687, HIG II, 3rd Street, Mogappair Lake, Chennai 600 037. Tel/ Fax 044-43500056. We are also in the process of acquiring few acres of land for the community based group home projects for these children and their families to lead a better , dignified and deserving life .Eventually this home will shape their future and make the community more contributing to the society and less depending on [Link] parents and the families ever worrying concern -WHO IS AFTER US TO LOOK AFTER THEM - will be addressed .As we all know the most severest disability is the brain/neuro dis function and it is not at all easy to lead a normal independent life like any other disabled/able persons .

We are also planning to create full fledged residential school,sports and playground area,recreation,yoga,cultural resource centre for music ,dance,drama,art and craft ,respite and residential care centre ,therapy room ,library etc for this community Currently we have developed a day school cum workshop with 5 Nos Arecanut plate making machine which will cater for vocational workshop for 8 to 10 children . This project is funded with contributions from the trustees ,relatives well wishes and friends .We have 5-6 cents of land with built up area of 500 sq feet which we can allot for this project . We are a registered trust and have received 12 A and 80 G IT Exemption .For applying FCRA to Indian Government ,we need to get a offer letter or recommendation from any NRI/Foreign Funding Agency so that specific temporary permit will be given by Ministry of EA and HOME . We request your good self to extend your support in whatever possible ways for PMAID /MAANSAMITHRA projects
