Sub: Intimation regarding rejoining as Assistant Teacher (Primary) and asking for release from
the present post (Asst. teacher under WBBSE),in consonance with the judgement dated
03.04.2025 passed by the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the Civil Appeal arising out of
Special Leave Petition (C) No.9586 of 2024 [State of West Bengal-Versus-Baishakhi
Bhattacharyya ( Chatterjee ) & Ors. ]

Sir,
This is to inform you that as per the Judgement dated 03.04.2025 passed by the Honourable Supreme
Court of India in the Civil Appeal arising out of Special Leave Petition (C) No.9586 of 2024 [State of
West Bengal-Versus-Baishakhi Bhattacharyya (Chatterjee) & Ors.] the appointments of 2016
WBCSSC SLST have been set aside by the honourable apex court . Now, before joining this service I
was previously in service under DPSC BURDWAN as an Asst. Teacher BALIDANGA F.P.
SCHOOL, under Mongalkote-1 Circle .

However, the honourable Supreme Court, has been pleased to make an observation in paragraph 47 of
the judgement dated 03.04.2025 that “some of the appointed candidates who do not fall within the
category of tainted candidates may have previously worked in different departments of the State
Government of with autonomous bodies, etc. In such cases, although their appointments are cancelled,
these candidates will have the right to apply to their previous departments, autonomous bodies to
continue in service with those entities”.

Now in compliance with the solemn order mentioned above & following the verification report of my
service details in terms of CSE, WBSSC Memo No. 388-LS IC/677/LS/2024(Part 05) dated.
08/09/2025, The Chairman, PURBA BARDHAMAN DPSC, have granted my prayer to rejoin as
an Asst. Teacher (Primary) and issued a rejoining order with Memo No. 3974 Dated.29/10/2025 .

In this context, I am bound to inform you that I have decided to join as an Assistant Teacher (Primary)
under PURBA BARDHAMAN DPSC on 11.11.2025 . So, Sir, I am requesting you to treat this
intimation with due consideration and release me from my present post and duties accordingly as per
rules following the apex court’s order. Thanking You,
