The graph intricates the quantities of products delivered in the UK from 1974 to 2002 by

four methods of transport. It is clear from the graph, almost the way of shipping by road,
water,rail and pipeline gained the popularity of citizens. Furthermore, there was a gradual
growth in the railway transport in the period recored

From 1974 to 2002, the roadway delivery gained the highest total of goods in the UK ,was
70 million tonnes to just under 100 million tonnes. Accompanying with the upward trend of
roadway, the transport of products by water way began to about 40 million tonnes in the
first four years. The sustainable trend was ongoing to approximately 60 million tonnes
through the period from 1992 to 1994. In the year 1998 had witnessed a moderate decline
before this delivery reached the highest point at around 70 million tonnes in 2002. Besides,
there as a sustainable growth of pipeline method in goods transport, achieved with over 20
million tonnes over the period 1998-2002, although this method hit a trough in 1974. The
quantities of products delivery by railway peaked at 40 million tonnes between 1974 to
1978 before experienced a remarkable fall from 1994, around 30 million tonnes. After that
the UK witnessed a plummet development in this method which increased back to its peak
in 2002
