Organizational Background
Tinambac Poblacion Overseas Filipino Workers was established 2015 founded by a
former OFW that join together looking forward to improve ourselves to sustain the every days
life necessities. This organization helps Tinambacqueños OFWs and their families and relatives
to manage their earnings wisely and contribute positively to their community, ensuring their
financial stability and community development. The ongoing efforts to support OFW can
potentially bring about security of their financial futures which can have a positive impact to
both barangay and in our municipality. Continued advocacy and support could be vital in
addressing the challenges faced by OFWs and maximizing the benefits of their contributions.
Purpose of Organization
This organization aims to achieve it vision by enhancing the business skills of Overseas
Filipino Workers (OFWs) and to tap any livelihood assistant that can sustain our daily
necessities. Despite years of working abroad, return home without substantial savings. Tinambac
Poblacion Overseas Filipino Workers Association (TPOFWA) equips (OFWs) family and
relatives with essential knowledge to effectively invest their earnings and start businesses such as
rice trading and copra buying. The (TPOFWA) organization also supports OFWs in adjusting
back to life in Tinambac, aiding their reintegration into Tinambaqueño community. This
comprehensive approach aims to ensure that OFWs can secure their financial futures and
contribute positively to their hometown and most important to this organization is to have one
goal, knowing each other

Current Activities Plans, and Programs
We are Conducting meeting two times a month about the plan and purpose where the association
join any activities in the community.
We are collecting monthly due on its member in a minimal amount of 30 pesos for our fund.
Livelihood
This program seeks to assist in improving socio-economic conditions of family of OFWs
in Tinambac by encouraging the establishment of small scale or alternative income generating
activities, and fostering the concept of self-help among members of the organization. Assistance
to livelihood projects may be through any of the following:

2. Donation of equipment or resources needed to start or sustain livelihood projects or to
improve productivity and income.
Donations may be directed to local communities and barangays, and cooperative.
