COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course deals with the basic theory and
concepts of surveying. It emphasizes the primary
operations of surveying which are the
measurement of distances, directions, and
differences in elevations.
Course Outcomes
After completing this course, the student must be able to:

CLASS POLICIES:
1. Wear appropriate and decent attire at all times and always be
ready to present your COR.

2. Only students who are officially enrolled will be allowed to


enter the class.

3. Attendance Sheet will be given every meeting. Failure to sign


the attendance sheet will mean an absence to the class. Any
false signatures will result in zero participation grades for all
parties involved.
4. A student shall be marked tardy if the student arrives in the
class 15 minutes after the start of the scheduled time. A student
will be marked absent from the class if he/she arrives 20 minutes
after the start of the scheduled time. However, student must not
be deprived of attending the lesson if he wishes.

5. Cheating is obtaining or intentionally giving unauthorized


information to create an unfair advantage in an examination and
other class activities. Cheating is equivalent to a zero grade for
that exam or activity.
6. Students who missed the exams without valid reasons
are considered zero (0). Missed exams with valid
reasons will be given a special exam the following
meeting. Inform your professor as soon as you come
back to class to take the exam or else you will forfeit
the special exam.

7. Dropping of subject will be before Midterm Exam. After


Midterm Exam, students are considered officially enrolled.
8. Students are expected to avoid the use of mobile or
smartphones while class is in session

9. Continued disruptions of the class by a student may result


in a request by the professor for the student to leave the
class.
