Assignment Structure and Instructions
Part 1 – Comic Strip (1 Page – Unit 1: Project Initiation)
Title: “Meet the Stakeholders – or Try To!”
Create a 1-page comic strip (6–8 panels) depicting a chaotic project kick-off scene.
Your comic must illustrate:
- A fictional or semi-real project introduction
- Key project stakeholders and their confusing demands
- Role of the project manager amid communication breakdowns, motivational issues, or
leadership dilemmas
- Use exaggerated or humorous dialogue to reflect common issues in project initiation
Apply Concepts from Unit 1:
- Project characteristics and life cycle
- Project manager’s role and leadership
- Human aspects: communication, conflict, motivation
- Stakeholder mapping
Part 2 – Narrative Section (~1500 words – Unit 2: Project Planning)
Title: “Planning to Survive: My Battle with the Gantt”
In this diary-style section, narrate the planning phase of your chosen project. Include:
1. Project Overview and Stakeholder Map
2. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) – 2–3 levels
3. Time and Cost Planning (CBS and Gantt chart)
4. Resource and Quality Planning

Part 3 – Narrative Section (~1500 words – Unit 3: Project Execution & Control)
Title: “Execution Day: When Nothing Went as Planned”
Write the execution phase diary entry, showing:
1. Project Scheduling and Tracking (CPM or PERT)
2. Dealing with Deviations (crashing/resource levelling)
3. Reflections on Leadership, Learning, and Change
