1. INTRODUCTION

The Housekeeping & Infection Control Clinical Pathways define standardized processes to ensure a clean,
hygienic, and infection-safe hospital environment. These pathways are critical to patient safety, staff
safety, infection prevention, and compliance with NABH and statutory requirements.

2. OBJECTIVES

 To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene


 To prevent and control hospital-acquired infections (HAIs)
 To standardize cleaning, disinfection, and waste management
 To ensure staff safety and infection prevention practices
 To comply with NABH infection control and facility management standards
