IT Check Steps

Step 1: Capture PC Information

1. Click on the Search bar in the bottom-left corner of your screen (next to the Start menu).
2. Type: About your PC
3. Press Enter or click on the result.
4. A new window will open with system information.
5. Take a screenshot of the full window showing:
- Device name
- Processor
- RAM installed
- System type
- Windows specifications

How to take a FULL screenshot: Press Windows + Shift + S to open the snipping tool and capture the
desired area. Save the screenshot.
- For Mac: Click on the Mac logo and then “About this Mac”.
Step 2: Check Ethernet Status (Wi-Fi Disabled)

1. On your taskbar, right-click the network (internet) icon near the clock.
2. Select Open Network & Internet settings.
3. A settings window will open. Make sure:
- You are connected through Ethernet Cable.
- Wi-Fi is turned off or disconnected.
4. Take a Full screenshot of this settings window.

For Mac :
Step 3: Run a Speed Test

1. Open your browser (Chrome or Edge).


2. Go to: [Link]
3. Click the GO button to begin the test.
4. Wait for it to complete.
5. Take a FULL screenshot of the results, showing:
- Download speed ( minimum 20 mbs)
- Upload speed (minimum 10 mbs)
- Ping ( not more than 300 )

Step 4: Test for Packet Loss( [Link])

1. Go to [Link].
2. In the search bar, type: packet loss test.
3. Click the first result (usually from [Link]).
4. In the test settings:
- Click the server location (e.g., New Jersey) and select your nearest country or city.
- Start the test and wait for it to complete.
5. Once the test finishes, take a Full screenshot of the results, showing:
- Upload & Download packet loss
- Average Latency : 140 ( except for Martti )

-Average Jitter : 15
Step 5 :Webcam Test ( file can be accepted without this screenshot )
1. acceptable web cam test ( standard : 720 )
Visit the link [Link] and run the test, then share full screenshot for the result
Showing the full specs result. Web cam resolution to be minimum of 1280*720 (No virtual
backgrounds, cell phone cameras or virtual cameras are allowed.).

Step 6 : USB Headset


Regarding the USB headset, it must meet the following requirements:

It must not be wireless, it should only be USB (should not have other connectors), adapters
are not allowed, it must have both earphones as shown in the picture, its parts should not
have the possibility of separating, and it is also recommended that they be black.
Additionally, they must not be gaming headsets.
The photo must be like this example, the entire headset and wiring must be visible

Step 7: Upload Your Screenshots on Google Drive link .

1. Make sure you have 4 Full screenshots at least :


- PC Info
- Internet Connection Settings
- Speed Test Results
- Packet Loss Test Results

Tips
- Make sure your screenshots are clear and fully show the required details.
- Close any personal or sensitive windows before taking screenshots.
- If you face issues with any step, contact the IT team for support.
