REFLECTION
The five-day-School Based In-Service Training (INSET) at Oras National High
School offered teachers significant chances for professional advancement,
teamwork, and personal growth. Every session was thoughtfully crafted to
focus on various elements of effective teaching and overall well-being. On
day one, the conversation on ‘Filipino sa Epektibong Komunikasyon”
emphasized the significance of clear and intentional communication,
highlighting to educators that proficiency in language enhances teacher-
student relationships and leads to improved classroom instruction.
The second day featured Video Lesson Creation using the KineMaster
application, which provided teachers with hands-on abilities to provide
multimedia instructional materials—an essential skill in today’s digital age.
The third day’s workshop on Creating a Table of Specification According to
Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy and Parliamentary procedures deepened
educators’ comprehension of assessment development and professional
conduct, enhancing both teaching effectiveness and organizational order. In
the meantime, the topic of the fourth day on Managing Stress: A Wellness
Lifestyle Approach highlighted the importance for teachers to sustain mental
and emotional equilibrium, acknowledging that successful teaching starts
with a sound mindset. The fifth day’s session on Introduction to Canva for
Education showcased creative and user-friendly digital tools to improve
teaching materials and classroom presentations.
In general, the training enhanced educator’s dedication to continuous
learning and creativity. It encouraged a culture of teamwork among peers
and enhanced their capacity to adjust to changing educational needs. The
sessions improved instructional and technological abilities while also
fostering teacher’s personal wellness—making the INSET a comprehensive
and significant professional development opportunity.
