-------------------------------------------------------------
Release 4.4.6 is bug fix and update release:
 added search funcionality by node path and parameters name
 "Supported device" window now shows in a whole size in a center of the screen - resolved problem with hiding the
upper part of the "Supported device" window when main window is put by its top edge to the top of the screen and
resized to a size smaller then "Supported device" window;
 resolved bug when saving partial parameters scheme (Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window.)
 LP Table column resizing proportionally to the table width
 resolved the base cause of 'infinite' bug error (endless generating of window with some error message like: Access
violation..., Privileged instruction, etc.) when closing the main form;
 added option by extended reading of either Parameters, DRO, LP or LB with additional register reading (data
showed in status bar)
 added option when saving the Parameters, DRO, LP, LB with 'smart' file name composing, containing the following
items: 'device', 'extended read register', 'date', 'time'
 added option when printing the Parameters, DRO, LP, LB with 'extended read register' data printed in the header
 F3 key press searching capability on Parameters
 ME162 parameter names updates
 DLMS regarding update: the following parameters are initially treated as octet string and thus showed (canceled
transformation from octet string to ASCII):
- Identifiers #3 ... #7
- Device address 1 ... 10
- Configuration program version
 unified save to file procedure for all data categories (Parameters, DRO, LP, LB, Monitoring)
 partial parameters saving successively now works properly
 recently saved files can now be quickly accessed by the menu under 'File' item
 unified behavior when opening files either by the menu or toolbar button
 fixed DLMS regarded time entry errors if custom specifications are used on the following parameters:
- 'Power Failure Time'
- 'Power L1 Failure Time'
- 'Power L2 Failure Time'
- 'Power L3 Failure Time'
- 'Phase ANY Failure Time'
- 'Date of last config. program change'
- 'Billing period time stamp'
- 'Code Red Start Date'
- 'Local time'
- 'Local date'
 if parameters window is opened and the user choose to perform some action (open, open new, close) that could
result in a loss of changed data, warning message "Current parameters scheme changes will be lost!" is thrown, but
only in case the user actually changed parameters data or if the parameters was initially shown by reading
 centralized and unified actions regarding opening, saving, closing files and changing parameters
 added new object instances to DLMS driver
 generic driver: added constant MKE to Input pins (only for devices that support it)
 generic driver: fixed decoding for tariff scheme (number of days in scheme was calculated wrong)
 generic driver: fixed presentation of harmonics to allow up to 30 harmonics
 generic driver: solved writing of CT and VT constants for current ratio 500A/5A and 525V/110V for voltage
 generic driver: added support for "Present voltage and current as primary values" and "Voltage presented as
biphase value" to FCU table
 fixed Test Mode On/Off command for MT17X
 included driver for a new meter ME173
 updated and added versions for various meters

 resolved random bug error when closing main form (infinite occuring of error window);
 resolved TCIP consereth comm. bug when reading extensive data (LP, DRO, ...);
 ensuring the main form is not outside screen boundaries (problem occurs when working with multiple monitors);
 restoring of DLMS/COSEM dialog settings (accessed by menu: Meter-Command-Custom) when MeterView will be
opened next time;
 resolved W5 password bug (truncated first character);
 added option with included COSEM class ID at W9 and E9 commands when exporting to ncs file considering DLMS
meter;
 when exporting to a file, default file extension is now appended properly if none is typed by the user;
 input dialog for reading "Load Profile" has had an entry named "Recording period" which has been replaced by
"Load Profile";
 DLMS regarding update: additional value conversion from octet strings to ANSI strings for the following parameters:
1) Identifiers #3 ... #7
2) Device address 1 ... 10
3) Configuration program version
 added "communication profile" info to the status bar
 new statusbar with a triangular grip on the lower right corner - the user can resize the status bar by dragging the
grip with the mouse;
 improved TAB navigation in dialog windows (the rule: left-right, top-bottom);
 resolved printig issues:
1) colored printing footer - now always black
2) extensive LP graphs has been printed horizontally shrinked - now printed in a whole width
3) undrawn graph for "Load Profile" when "complete" "Apereance" has been selected in "LP graph options" -
now prints ok
4) when reading LP from a file/meter the buttons "Graph Options", "previous page" and "next page" are now
initially disabled
5) sometimes the bottom part of LP info window stays visible - now closed correctly
6) after LP graph printing, LP info window can not be recalled unless resized - recall now enabled without
resizing
7) removed small gray rectangle appearing in top left position of LP graph
 when MV is opened next time, the main window is now restored correctly to its last positions and dimensions or
maximized state;
 how to properly run MeterView on Windows Vista - In the Borland Database Engine, sharing of data among more
workstations is controlled by the file: "[Link]". The location of this file is important as all workstations
operating on the same data must refer to the same file. The default setting for the placement of this file is in the root
of drive C, which will fail under Windows Vista, as this operating system does not permit new files to be created
here. But MeterView can be still properly run under Vista if you have administrative privileges. Such behaviour can
be achieved if you right click on [Link] then go to "Compatibility" tab and under "Privilege level" mark the check-
box "Run this program as administrator";
 regarding modem connection, the message "Failed to enter communication session" is thrown if "Dial command" is
not set;
 communication Profile name is now restored correctly when reopening MeterView or its Preferences dialog;
 DLMS regarding LP change: time, status and data that were class type dependant are now obis code dependant;
 disabling or enabling of editing controls performs the same action synchronically for associated labels;
 resolved unpredicted behavior when exporting parameters;
 fixed bug: msisdn was not encoding correctly when number was empty;
 added support for event Low battery;
 number of records in load profile cannot be changed for MT8XX;
 added multiple sequences;
 added support for sequence group install sequence;
 added support for simultaneous tariffs (tariff program for power);

 fixed "Request fulfilled" error when reading Load profile over network (TCP/IP);
 fixed error when reading Tariff scheme in some special cases;
 added all electricity identifiers to sequences (MT8XX);
 added THD by phases to sequences (virtual driver)

RELEASE NOTES (4.0.0)
-------------------------------------------------------------

Release 4 is new functionality and new environment release.

Since the new environment includes new set of library files, this release will not be available as an upgrade. However
this and any previous release should work fine installed on the same machine, provided that they are located in different
folders (default).

This release adds the following functions to the software:

1. Support for IEC870 communication protocol

Settings/Preferences/Communication dialog is slightly changed to accommodate the protocol setting. This setting
however influences on the behavior of the program.

2. Support for DLMS/COSEM communication protocol

This communication protocol is using generic driver for DLMS devices and is invoked by choosing the right settings in
Settings/Preferences/Communication dialog.

3. Data and state monitoring

Device Data and state monitoring was added for purpose of online tracing of the connected device. It is also the only
way of data acquisition with the IEC870 protocol.

4. Selective setup
Three setup types are available:
- typical (full) - includes all device drivers
- compact (minimum) - includes only generic device drivers
- custom - user can select groups of device drivers

5. Support for new devices

The known parameter set has been extended to accommodate the following new devices:
- MT855
- MT830
- MT860
- MT171
- MT172
- P2G

6. Improved help system (XML document)

7. Redesigned selection of new devices

8. Redesigned editing of device parameters

Device Parameters scheme is now organized in tree structure where various groupings are possible.

9. Redesigned status monitoring

Available status monitors can be organized in tree structure where various groupings are possible.
