Sarasota, Fla. Republican Candidate Doug Holder today announced that the Federation of Manufactured Home Owners of Florida, Inc. (FMO) has endorsed his bid for the newly-drawn Florida House District 74 seat. The FMO is proud to support Doug Holder in his campaign for House District 74, said Charles Gallagher, president of the FMO. In previous years, Doug has represented his constituents with strength and integrity. His leadership on the issue of eliminating the Division of Condominiums, Time Shares and Mobile Homes in 2011 helped defeat a potentially disastrous public policy nightmare, and we have faith in Doug to continue to meet with us and advocate for our community. I am glad I can count on the support of the FMO, said Holder. Our community deserves the highest quality of life, and I am excited to have the opportunity to yet again provide the strong voice of support our voters need in Tallahassee. I pledge to continue to protect the needs of Floridas homeowners and insurance policy holders in order to help steer Florida in the right direction. The FMO joins the Associated Industries of Florida Political Action Committee, the Florida Medical Association and the Florida Retail Federation in endorsing Holder for Florida House District 74, which encompasses South Sarasota County, including Osprey, Nokomis, Venice and parts of North Port and Englewood. Doug Holder is currently a State Representative from Sarasota County and local small business owner. He was first elected to former House District 70 in 2006, an office he has held for six years. His commitment spans the state and nationwide, as he is also involved with the Florida Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Advisory Council, who awarded him Businessman of the Year in 2004.
