II. Description of the Activity
To launch this year’s theme, “Mathematics & Technology: Building Resilient
Problem-Solvers for the Future,” students will embark on an exciting interactive journey with
Dora the Problem-Solver! In this Dora the Explorer-inspired skit, Dora and her tech-savvy
sidekick will guide students through a series of math and technology challenges to save the
future.
As problem-solvers, students will help Dora overcome obstacles by applying critical thinking,
mathematical reasoning, and technology-based solutions. Along the way, they will experience
how math and technology work together in real-world problem-solving, reinforcing the
importance of resilience, creativity, and perseverance.

The program will begin with a Dora the Explorer Parody skit, setting the stage for an
exciting mathematical adventure.
The Performing Arts Guild, along with the learners, will showcase a dynamic math-inspired
dance to energize the audience.
The official presentation of the theme, “Mathematics & Technology: Building Resilient
Problem-Solvers for the Future,” will follow, emphasizing the importance of math and
technology in shaping the future.
