 Module 1: Introduction to the Analytics Landscape
Objective: Understand what data analytics is and why it has become essential in the
digital age.
Definition: The process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data to
extract insights.
Scope: Applications across healthcare, finance, business, and government.
Market Trends: Understanding the rise of Big Data and the projected growth of the
Business Intelligence market ($18B by 2026).
 Module 2: The Core Data Analysis Process
Objective: Master the end-to-end workflow used by professional analysts to solve
problems. * Phase 1: Defining objectives and asking the right questions.
Phase 2: Data collection and preparation (cleaning).
Phase 3: Analysis and interpretation.
Phase 4: Storytelling and communicating findings to stakeholders.
 Module 3: Advanced Analytical Techniques
Objective: Learn the different "lenses" through which data is viewed to answer specific
business questions.
The Four Fields:
o Descriptive: What happened? (Trends and reports).
o Diagnostic: Why did it happen? (Root cause analysis).
o Predictive: What could happen? (Forecasting).
o Prescriptive: What should we do? (Actionable decisions).
