TIME MANAGEMENT PLAN: SCIENCE CBSE BOARD EXAM

Total Exam Duration: 3 Hours 15 minutes (Including reading time)

 Reading Time: 10:15 – 10:30 AM (15 minutes)


 Writing Time: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM (3 hours)

1. Reading Time (10:15 – 10:30 AM) → 15 Minutes

 Read the entire question paper carefully.


 Identify the easy and difficult questions.
 Underline key terms in the questions.
 Plan how to attempt the paper (order of answering).

2. Writing Time (10:30 AM – 1:30 PM) → 3 Hours

Section-wise Time Allocation:


Section Suggested Time Tips
- Be precise and to the point.
Section A (1-mark questions) – 20 minutes
- Don't over-explain.
MCQs, VSA (10:30 – 10:50)
- Skip difficult ones and come back later.
Section B (2-mark questions) – 25 minutes - Write in 2-3 sentences.
Short Answer Type (10:50 – 11:15) - Use scientific terms and keywords.
Section C (3-mark questions) – 35 minutes - Write in points for clarity.
Short Answer Type (11:15 – 11:50) - Include diagrams.
