TERMS AND MEANINGS
Reef : Belt or seam
Anomaly : An unordinary occurrence of geological importance in the
Earth.
Mineralized zone : A portion along the belt where there is high mineralisation
Resource : Precious treasure/Mineral sought (in this case, gold).
Pocket : A small portion along the seam with high mineralisation
levels
Pay streak : A paying stretch along the seam.
Claim : Registered mining block
Sheared zone : An area where shearing occurred during rock formation
Thereby leaving a weak zone in between rocks which can
Permit mineral to come through.
AREA BACKGROUND
Location
The claim is located in Mberengwa which falls under Midlands Province of
Zimbabwe.
Terrain and Landscape
The local terrain consists of mainly small hills undulating plains, and range of
mountains, characterised of Mupani and Mubvumira trees. The landscape varies
from place to place but it is very bushy and plenty of Outcrop intrusions.
Rock Formations
It consists of mainly Quartzite vein reefs, and BIF (Bended Iron Formations)
There is some granite stone found here and there, but most of the reef is
quartzite found in red and sandy soil. The quart veins are impregnated in granite
stone and some in serpentine rock formation.
SURVEY METHOD
The 1st survey was done using an analogue machine called EPX9900
Long Range. The machine uses frequency which is induced into the
ground, to perform targeted positions of the sort after mineral. This geo
survey technique involves sending frequency signals into the ground via
Probes which are injected into the ground on parent soil not refill. Then
the repelled responses will be picked up via handheld antennas, showing
the direction, belt, incline of belt, and area of better concentration of the
sought mineral. It can detect Gold/ Copper / Silver / Gemstones /
Platinum group minerals (including Chrome) Aluminium and Tin. The
technique was developed in Florida, USA for archaeological and artefacts
exploration. Most minerals on earth crust create magnetic, resistance,
and frequency fields around them. This analogue machine (EXP 9900)
has pre-set Frequencies of the mineral being sought. It mostly performs
reconnaissance survey which can be followed up by the focused survey
using Digital Scanners. The selection of a particular mineral makes it
distinct, because it zeros in on exactly what you are looking for, on
Scanners or Magnetometers or IP you get a colour format of highly
mineralised zones. After this detector has distinguished a highly
concentrated area it will be of the selected mineral. Then when Scanned
that area has a high probability of yielding good result for the particular
mineral.
The second survey we used a 3D Scanner called GER Deep Seeker of
Germany origin.
The Deep Seeker contains 5 Systems integrated into it, which makes it
distinct from other devices, namely
1> Longrange Detection of up to 1.5km, horizontaly
2> Ironic Search
3> The 3D imaging
4> Magnetometer for magnetic fields
5> Void or Tunnel search
DETECTED AREAS DETAILS
Point 1: 36 K 0798513 / 8077895
The above images of Point 1 is showing an East to West running belt which has a deposition
start from about 10mt depth to about 48mt peak value. These values are exhibited on the
point where the scan was done. However is seems the reef belt has potential of deep resource
Point 2: 35 k 0798610 / 7736323
This is the point where the current main shaft is being sunk and the image will send
separately, but it showed that mineralisation started at the deep end of about 65mt deep. Now
with your strategy of sinking up to 70mt depth, it is the ideal strategy
This point lies to the West of point 1. It has a belt running East –
West and has a South incline, and intersects with a South west –
North east belt.
Point 3: 35 K 0798628 / 7736321
This position we took the scan on top of the main Reef belt. The
image here shows a deposition from 20 – 39mt and as a cut off
section after 39mt it seems it increases. This being the main reef the
image shows a wider reef in existence, and this being the same reef
from point 1 the values are the more or less the same to this point.
Point 4 : 35 K 0798680 / 7736246
This is the point where you are planning to put an excavator, the scan images show that on
the deep blue image there is a tunnel underneath to about 20mt deep, and there after there is
mineralisation 57mt which is strong. The values are 4 which is within the recommended
limit, so excavation can go ahead
Point 5 : 35 K 0799215 / 7736165
This position has a very distinct Red colour for high mineral and it seems it was improving
as went deeper and this cutoff section shows just that by the intensity of the red colour. It
starts with a low value of 3 but at around 6mt to about 25mt on this section scanned
This position is across the road from Mberengwa on the right side as we come into the mine.
Point 6 : 35 K 0799169 / 7736102
This reef is on the left side of position 5, that’s the belt that was worked on and was never
fully exploited. On this scanned position, the image show that the reef is stronger from a
depth of about 26mt to 45mt which is good in terms of mining since its about 20mt depth of
ore and the estimated width of about 350mm
Point 7 : 35 K 0799066 / 7736094
This position the belt has BIF (Banded Iron Formation) and normally this type of belt is good
to mine, and at times has some nuggets on the top. The sample is starting from a depth of
about 14mt to 32mt and around 42mts the shaft is likely to hit plenty of water
Point 8 : 35 K 0798917 / 7736026
The values on this position are relatively low but of interest is the mineralisation across this
reef it has a 4mt depth which indicates some rubble existence. At 60mt there is a water table.
Point 9 : 35 K 0798852 / 7736005 (paMubvumira)
This position has very good values of 5 the best so far and the sample improves with depth
after being picked from a depth of 10mt it fluctuates to 29mt where it improves but peaks
from 47mt downwards
Point 10: 35 K 0798840 / 7736117
From about 5mt There is some sample depositions and there is an intersection of belts, it
seems the sample starts off in rubble form, and at 32 mt its very intense as shown by the
colour
SURVEY SUMMARY
The reconnaissance survey using the analogue apparatus resulted in
the identification of prime mineralisation zones. A follow up focused
survey was conducted on the picked areas using a 3D scanner to
pinpoint the actual location of mineralized zones, but the general local
mineralization based on the Magnetic, and Frequency scientific data
collected at various points are average to fair concentration and can be
achieved on all belts across the ore body, rendering it feasible for
mining expecting low grade near surface whilst improving on the
deeper mining. Belts where there is a convergence are areas which are
of good note on this claim.
After this survey we deducted that the actual sinking can be done on
point highlighted in red to get samples on the deep end from 15mts
downwards cause it seems on the surface there is low grade due to
weathering over a period of time.
Please take note that the machines have margin of variance of + or –
5 meters, ( meaning you can reach to target 5 meters earlier or after
)
RECOMENDATION
The areas picked up by the machine represent the parameters set by
the manufacturer, indicating the existence of the mineral.
However due diligence is required in form of direct drilling of the
picked zones to have a quantitative result, down deep. We however
have had 90% success rate on this type of survey method, which is
verifiable from contacts we can provide details, who are and have
already sunk their shafts and yielded good results.
