Hygrometer
Hygrometer is used to measure the amount of water vapor in the air, soil and other more. It
is also know/used as to identify the moisture content in the atmosphere and gaseous
mixtures
Radiosonde
This is used to transfer data on humidity, temperature and pressure to a sea, air, or land-
based station.
Thermo-hygrometer
It is used to discover the quality of air in an enclosed place and to determine and to monitor
the humidity level for various applications
Electrical Hygrometer
It uses electricity to measure humidity changes
Psychrometer
it does so by measuring the temperature difference between a dry thermometer bulb and a wet
thermometer bulb that has lost some moisture due to evaporation.
Dew Point Hygrometer
It is a critical weather instrument used to measure the dew point temperature of a gas.
Hair Hygrometer
It is a weather instrument that uses a strand of human hair to measure humidity.
Sling psychrometer
This instrument measures the relative humidity and the wet bulb temperature by using two
thermometers.
Hygrothermograph
It measures and records both temperature and relative humidity, simultaneously onto a
single chart.
Rawinsonde
Radiosonde observations technically provide only pressure, temperature, and relative
humidity data; the tracked position of a radiosonde is actually called a rawinsonde
observation and is used to obtain wind speed and direction.
