INTRODUCTION: (Before the Program starts)

Keep initial reminders but enhance the tone.

HOST 1:
Good afternoon and welcome, everyone! We're so thrilled to have you
here. We'll be officially kicking off our program at 2PM, and while you wait,
here are a few gentle reminders:
 Please make your way to the Registration Table to sign in. The P200
registration fee includes coffee and a delicious pastry. Our friendly
CYP Secretariat is ready to assist you! Please don't forget to
indicate the name of your host or sponsor—because, we want to
thank them for bringing you here!
 While we’re waiting, this is the perfect time to grab your coffee, say
hello, and mingle with the amazing people at your table. Make a
new connection!
 Once the program begins, we kindly ask for your full attention and
to remain respectful throughout. And if you need anything at all—
assistance or have a question—just raise your hand! One of our
BCBP CYP Baristas (our helpful volunteers) will be happy to assist
you. Thank you!

PRELIMINARIES & WELCOME/ENERGY CHECK:

HOST 1: Good afternoon, everyone! Maupay nga kulop sa aton
ngatanan!
Wow—can we just take a moment to feel the energy in this room? The
smiles, the conversations, the excitement—it’s absolutely beautiful!

I’m ________, (both Hosts)

We are your hosts for today, and on behalf of the whole CYP team, we are
so happy that you chose to spend your Saturday afternoon with us. With
all the places you could be, you’re here—and that already tells us this is
going to be a very special gathering.

HOST 2: Alright everyone, before we officially start, let’s wake up the

room and get the energy flowing! This is called ‘Coffee or No Coffee?’—
super simple, super fun.
I’ll read out some statements. If it applies to you, raise your hand, clap,
or make some noise—whatever feels natural. No right or wrong
answers, just be honest!

Let’s try it!

 Coffee drinkers in the house—where you at?
 How about those who say ‘Tea is life!’
 Early birds—you love mornings!
 Night owls—still alive at 2 AM!
 Who’s here mainly for the food? Be honest!
 And finally… who’s here for the conversations and connections?

HOST 1: (After the energy check) Look around—this is CYP. Different

stories, different vibes, but one community. Alright, let’s keep this
energy as we move on with our program!

HOST 2: We are the Christ's Young Professionals (CYP) — a community of

young business people and professionals committed to living our core
values: 'Live well. Love much. Pray always. Serve beyond measure'

HOST 1: Today is extra meaningful because we are officially launching

CYP and CoffeeTalks here in Calbayog! CoffeeTalks is more than an
event—it’s a safe space, a listening space, and a sharing space. And we
believe that when people come together with open hearts and a good cup
of coffee, stories flow more freely, connections grow deeper, and lives are
inspired.

HOST 2: You know, weekends are usually for rest, family or barkada time,
but we believe a Saturday afternoon, shared over warm coffee and
warmer conversations, or an iced coffee and chill conversations, can also
be a powerful time for reflection and growth.

So, sit back, relax, enjoy your coffee, and most of all—enjoy the
stories. And to our first-timers, a huge shout-out—we are so glad you
are finally here with us.

Welcome to CoffeeTalks, where stories are always better over a

good cup of coffee.

WHAT IS COFFEETALKS?
HOST 1: Now, for the benefit of our new friends: What exactly is
CoffeeTalks?
Simply put, CoffeeTalks is a monthly gathering for single and young
professionals. It's your place to listen to inspiring stories, meet new
friends, and deepen both your faith and life skills. We are organized by the
BCBP Calbayog Chapter's Christ's Young Professionals (CYP). Our unit
supports young professionals or young entrepreneurs as we navigate the
challenges in life while also keeping our spiritual journey nurtured.

HOST 2: Each CoffeeTalk endeavors to build on our faith and life skills.
Today, we are having our 'Espresso,' which is focused on Faith and Life
testimony. Prepare to be inspired!
But first, let's prepare our hearts and minds. Please stand and join us for
our Opening Song, followed by the Opening Prayer to be led by one of
our sis, Doc Ofelia Monesit.

OPENING SONG: Tribe by Hillsong then…Opening Prayer

FORMAL WELCOME & WHAT TO EXPECT:

(After the Opening Song and Prayer)
HOST 1: Amen! Thank you, Sis Ofelia.
Once again, Maupay nga kulop and thank you for joining us for the
launching of CYP Calbayog and CoffeeTalks. This afternoon's Edition of
CoffeeTalks is hosted by the BCBP Calbayog Chapter.

HOST 2: Joining us today are the members of the BCBP Calbayog

Community—led by our Senior Leaders, our Governance Team, our Action
Group Leaders and their Assistants, our dedicated regular members, and
of course, the passionate CYP Core Team.

Can we please give a big, rousing welcome to all our BCBP and CYP
leaders present with us today! (Pause for applause) and another round of
applause to our 1st time CoffeeTalkers!

HOST 1: Alright, CoffeeTalks family, this is one of our favorite moments

of the day! We’d like to welcome our first-time CoffeeTalkers who are
joining us this afternoon!

When I call your name, please stand up and remain standing until
everyone is introduced and please give us your best wave as I call your
name—no speeches required, just good vibes!

Let’s start! (Host 1 & 2 alternating)

• [Name] – welcome to CoffeeTalks! 👏
• [Name] – we’re so glad you’re here tonight! 👏
• [Name] – thank you for saying yes to CoffeeTalks! 👏

CoffeeTalks family, can we give our first-timers a big, warm round of

applause?

HOST 2: To our first-time CoffeeTalkers, we hope this afternoon feels

like home. Enjoy the conversations, enjoy the coffee, and we hope this is
just the first of many cups you’ll share with us!

Here at CoffeeTalks, we believe that welcome is best expressed not just

with words—but with song and joy. So, to our first-timers, this is our way
of saying: you are seen, you are valued, and you are very welcome
here.
CYP CoffeeTalks family, let us now welcome our first-time CoffeeTalkers
with our traditional welcome song! (Hevenu Shalom Alekiem)

HOST 1:
So, what's in the store for today?
Here's a glimpse of what to expect:
 At the heart of our program is our Main Talk, featuring a speaker
who will share powerful and practical lessons on life, work, and faith.
 This will be followed by a meaningful Scripture Response and
Response Song, grounding everything we’ve heard in reflection
and grace.
 We’ll then open the floor for an interactive Q&A session—so start
thinking of your questions now, because your voice matters here.
 After that, we’ll break into engaging group discussions,
thoughtfully facilitated by our very own CYP Baristas, where stories,
insights, and real conversations come alive.
 We’ll also have a few important announcements to share with you.
 And of course, we’ll end on a high note—capturing this moment
together with a Group Photo!

HOST 2: Before we move on, we’d like to share something special with
you.
You’ve heard us mention CYP a few times today—but what exactly is it?

CYP, or Christ’s Young Professionals, is a community of young men

and women who are passionate about faith, fellowship, and purpose—
where careers are built, friendships are formed, and lives are anchored in
Christ.
To give you a better feel of who we are, what we do, and why this
community matters, we’ve prepared a short video. So, sit back, relax,
and let the screen do the talking.

Let’s watch this video and get to know CYP.

TALK PROPER - INTRODUCING OUR SPEAKER:

HOST 1: It is now time for the heart of today's CoffeeTalks —our featured
speaker.

Our speaker this afternoon is not only a dedicated medical professional,

but also a man deeply grounded in purpose and faith. He is someone who
understands what it means to grind with grit, to serve with grace, and to
walk closely with God—even in the midst of a very demanding vocation.

HOST 2: He is the Medical Director of United Shalom Hospital, a

Physician–Pediatrician, and the head of Declarador Clinics and Ultrasound
in Tacloban City. But beyond his impressive credentials, he is a witness to
a life lived fully—loving much, praying always, and serving beyond
measure.

Today, he will share with us his journey and insights on our theme:
“4G: Grind with Grit, Grace, and God — A Life of Balance for God.”

Please join us in warmly welcoming our CoffeeTalks speaker, Dr. Sean

Declarador!

SCRIPTURE/SONG RESPONSE & CERTIFICATE/TOKEN:

(After the Speaker's Talk, Scripture/Song response)
HOST 1: Thank you very much, Dr. Sean Declarador, for that inspiring
and heartfelt sharing.
Your words reminded us that success is not just about how hard we grind,
but who we walk with as we do—anchored in grit, grace, and God.

I’m sure many of us found ourselves nodding, reflecting, and maybe even
rethinking how we balance our work, faith, and daily lives. Those lessons
are not just meant to be heard, but to be lived.

HOST 2: At this point, to express our heartfelt gratitude for the time,
wisdom, and inspiration shared with us this afternoon, the BCBP Calbayog
Chapter would like to present a Certificate of Appreciation and a token of
gratitude to our speaker.

May we now call on the BCBP Calbayog Chapter Head, Tang Boy Cacait
and CYP Coordinator, Bro Jonas Lim, to please come forward and present
the Certificate of Appreciation and token to Dr. Sean Declarador.

Host 1: (will read the text of the certificate…then awarding)

Once again, thank you, Dr. Sean, for generously sharing your journey and
for reminding us to live a life grounded in grit, grace, and God.

OPEN FORUM/QUESTION & ANSWER: (Optional)

HOST 1: Now, CoffeeTalks is not just about listening—it’s about sharing,
reflecting, and engaging. This is the part of the program where your voice
comes in.

We now open the floor for our Open Forum and Q&A Session. If you have
questions, reflections, or insights sparked by the talk—whether about life,
work, faith, or finding balance—we’d love to hear from you.

HOST 2: There are no right or wrong questions here, just honest

conversations over coffee. So don’t be shy—this is your moment.

Who would like to start us off?

Please feel free to raise your hand!

GROUP DISCUSSION:
(After the Open Forum)
HOST 1: Now, let’s move into our Group Discussion—a vital part of
CoffeeTalks and a space where reflection turns into real growth.

Each table will be guided by one of our CYP Baristas, who will help
facilitate the conversation and make sure everyone has the opportunity to
share. This is a safe and welcoming space, so feel free to speak from the
heart.

You’ll have 30 minutes for this segment. We encourage you to begin and
end your discussion with a short prayer, inviting God into your
conversations.

On the screen is your Starter Question to guide your sharing.

(Point to the screen.)
So, are we ready?
Let the conversations flow—and may your stories be richer over coffee.

(After the Group Discussion)

HOST 2: Thank you, everyone, for your active participation and honest
sharing during our discussion. It’s inspiring to see how each of us brought
our own experiences and insights to the table.

Remember, what we discussed today is not just for reflection—it’s for

action. Let’s carry these lessons and commitments into our daily lives,
supporting one another as we grow together.

Your openness and honesty truly make this group stronger. Let’s
continue this spirit of learning, listening, and uplifting each other in
everything we do.

THANK YOU & ANNOUNCEMENTS:

HOST 1: To all our first-time CoffeeTalkers, we truly hope that today has
inspired and encouraged you. We’re so grateful you chose to be with us—
and we hope this won’t be your last.

Just a few quick but important announcements before we wrap

up:
 CoffeeTalks happens every third or last Saturday of the month. And
as we always say, stories are better over a good cup of coffee. We’d

praise!
