APPENDIX A: GLOSSARY OF TERMS

 Algorithm
A step-by-step procedure or formula for solving a problem or accomplishing a task, often used
in computer science and mathematics.

 Regression Analysis
A statistical technique used to model the relationship between a dependent variable and one
or more independent variables.

 Hypothesis
A proposed explanation for a phenomenon, often stated in a testable form.

 Quantitative Research
Research that focuses on collecting and analyzing numerical data to understand phenomena.

 Qualitative Research
Research that focuses on exploring and understanding complex phenomena through non-
numeric data such as interviews, observations, and textual analysis.

The following serves as the transcript of the interview conducted with Participant A. The participant
declines to be named in this report.

Interviewer: Good morning, Participant A. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today.

Participant A: Good morning, happy to be here.

Interviewer: To start, could you please tell us about your experience with the new product?

Participant A: Sure. I found the new product to be quite user-friendly and intuitive. The interface was
easy to navigate, and I didn't encounter any major issues during my usage.

Interviewer: That's great to hear. Were there any features of the product that stood out to you?

Participant A: Yes, I particularly liked the customization options available. Being able to personalize
my profile and settings really enhanced my overall experience.

Interviewer: Wonderful. Did you encounter any challenges or areas for improvement while using the
product?

Participant A: There were a few minor bugs that I noticed, but nothing that significantly impacted my
