Google Drive Sharing: A Super Simple

Visual Guide
Sharing files on Google Drive is easy! This guide will show you how with lots of pictures
and simple steps.

1. Find Your File

First, go to your Google Drive and find the file you want to share. It will look something
like this:

2. Right-Click and Share

Right-click on the file you want to share. A menu will pop up. Click on "Share".
3. Add People

Now, you'll see a box where you can type in the email addresses of the people you
want to share with.
4. Choose Permissions

Decide what you want people to do with your file. You can let them View, Comment,
or Edit.

Viewer: They can only look at the file.

Commenter: They can look and leave comments.

Editor: They can make changes to the file.

5. Send!

Click the "Send" button. That's it! The people you shared with will get an email with a
link to your file.
And you're done! You've successfully shared a file using Google Drive.

How to Add Files: Drag and Drop

The easiest way to add files to Google Drive is to drag and drop them from your
computer!

Step 1: Open Google Drive and Your Files

Have Google Drive open in your web browser and open the folder on your computer
where your files are.
Step 2: Drag Files to Google Drive

Simply click and hold on a file from your computer, then drag it over to your Google
Drive window and let go!
You'll see a message that says "Drop files here" when you're in the right spot. Release
your mouse button and the file will upload automatically!

How to Download Files from Google Drive

Sometimes you want to save a file from Google Drive to your computer. Here's how:

Right-click on any file in Google Drive and select "Download" from the menu.
