Guidelines for Performance Task

Task Description:
Due to the rise of mental health concerns among teenagers, your school’s Guidance Office
has commissioned you to produce a three- to five-minute public service advertisement (PSA)
informing your fellow students that they are not alone in their struggles. Hence, your primary
goal is to uplift the spirits of your target viewers. You are a Grade 10 student with basic
knowledge of video production. Hence, you are not expected to come up with a sophisticated
video. The video should be designed for both junior and senior high school students (Grades
7 to 12).

I. Video Guidelines
 Your video should talk about mental health awareness, taking care of yourself, and
showing support for others. Make sure the message is positive and inspiring.
 Share something that can inspire people to care for their well-being.
 If you include facts or information about mental health, make sure they come from
trusted and reliable sources.
 End your video with an inspiring message.
 Encourage your viewers to seek help, talk to someone they trust, or take care of their
mental health. Let your message give hope and strength to others.

II. Technical Guidelines

 Your video should be three to five minutes long.


 Make sure the sound and visuals are clear and easy to understand.
 You can use a phone or any simple editing app to create your video.

III. Submission

1. Upload your video on Facebook with the following details:


 Use the hashtag #YouAreNotAlone and #Grade10Patience
 Write a short caption describing your message.
 Make it public to reach your target audience.
2. Your post should reach 100 likes for it to be graded. It should reach 100 likes on
or before the deadline.
3. The deadline will be on October 24, 2025.

Creativity and Impact: 35%
Technical Quality: 25%

Total: 100%
