Content ;

Secondary colours are formed by mixing two primary colours.

Mixing results:

Red + Yellow = Orange

Blue + Yellow = Green

Red + Blue = Purple

Teacher demonstrates mixing paint.

The leaves of a plant are primarily responsible for photosynthesis, where they use sunlight to produce food for the plant, and for transpiration, which helps regulate moisture and nutrient absorption .

Plants and animals contribute food, oxygen, and companionship, and their well-being is ensured through regular care practices like watering plants, adding manure, feeding animals properly, and providing them clean water and shelter .

Water changes its state through heating or cooling; it becomes steam when heated and changes to ice when frozen. For example, understanding this process is beneficial in cooking, where boiling or steaming is used to prepare food, and in preserving foods by freezing .

Correctly identifying water sources like rivers, wells, rain, and taps is crucial in education as it promotes understanding of water's role in ecology and daily life. It fosters environmental awareness and responsible water usage from a young age .

Plants are vital to a healthy environment as they provide oxygen through photosynthesis, essential for life on Earth, and help regulate the carbon cycle. They also prevent soil erosion and enhance biodiversity by offering habitat and food to various life forms .

Primary colours are unique because they serve as a foundation for creating secondary colours. Each pair of primary colours will blend to form a secondary colour, such as red and blue creating purple, underscoring their elementary role in colour theory and application in art and design .

Understanding the states of water—solid (ice), liquid (water), and gas (steam)—helps in various practical scenarios, such as optimizing energy use in heating and cooling systems, preserving food through freezing, and comprehending weather patterns like the formation of clouds and precipitation .

Secondary colours, such as orange, green, and purple, are formed by mixing two primary colours. Specifically, red and yellow make orange, blue and yellow make green, and red and blue make purple .

The three primary colours are red, blue, and yellow. They are considered primary because they cannot be created by mixing any other colours and are used as the basic palette from which other colours are formed .

Learning the different parts of animals and their functions is crucial for pupils as it fosters an understanding of biological systems, animal behaviors, and adaptations, promoting environmental awareness and empathy towards wildlife .
