When you plan to visit this country
Why you would like to go there
And explain why this is a good country to visit
Solution
Speaking of a foreign country that I have never been to, the first thing pops up in
my mind is Norway that relates to the name of a song performed by a renowned
Liverpool musical band – The Beatles
First thing first, I want to talk about where the country is. Norway is a country in
Northern Europe and It’s pretty easy to pick out on a map. Norway is known for its
coasts and its particular weather – cold and freezing. and It is certain that English
is the second most widely spoken in Norway; therefore, this is convenient for
foreign visitors who speaks this common language.
Regarding the plan to visit Norway, it should start from January, or rather, in a
middle of January. Because there is only one tourism once a year and it has been in
January. Plus, I have known nothing about Norway. Therefore, I need a believable
travel agent who know things in details in Norway to ensure everything runs
smoothly. Then I demand for reservation the tourism in advance before at least 6
months.
Now let’s move on the reason why Norway is a worth-visiting country. As I
mentioned, the song just recall me a gentle landscape that appears in my mind with
hundreds of spectacular views and especially a number of towering snow-covered
mountains. So, Norway is definitely an excellent choice for adventure lovers like
me. Besides, it is a great place to experience its thousand-year diverse culture and
history. The best way to admire and appreciate its beauty is to take double-decker
bus tour to explore famous religious buildings; especially Christian Church sites.

Describe a place in a village that you visited
Where it is
When you visited it
What you did there
How you felt about that place
Solution:
Speaking of a place in a village that you visited, the first one that pops up in my
mind is my gramma’s hometown
First thing first, I want to talk about where it is. To be honest, I don’t know exactly
the location is. But it is in close proximity to central Hanoi which is in the suburb.
And The village is 2.5 hours driving by car after passing through a few provinces
on the outskirts. There is a symbol when you may caught a glimpse of, is a
towering tree noticing us that we arrive.
Regarding when I visited the Village, it’s often once per month. But as my
memory, the village remind me the most back then 20 years ago when it was an
unspoilt countryside. At that moment, my parents just got an invitation from my
cousin for the union of big family. My parent didn’t want to let that opportunity
pass. In the next few days, we popped over and this was my first time seeing those
lovely people.
In term of what I were doing past 20 years, of course I still was a little kid at that
time. Playing some traditional game with other same age children. For example,
jumping rope, kite runner, hide and seek et cetera… At the midnight, when
someone fell asleep, we sneaked outside to see something that I haven’t seen
everywhere else in the city. There was a totally dark open field and soon we caught
a glimpse of fireflies lighting out the whole area within a second. That moment
contributed to the most memory ever in my life.
The fireflies; therefore, has been dwindling by time due to the urbanization of
village so far. However it is still our hometown, and remind me of the old-days
with peaceful, tranquil along with gentle landscape.

An explain what you liked and disliked about it
Solution:
Speaking of a school that I went to, the first one that pops up in my mind is my
high school which left me with a lot memories 15 years ago.
First thing first, I want to talk about the location of school is. Situated in Hai Ba
Trung district of Hanoi, my high school was in close proximity to my downtown
area. So, it took 10 mins to school by driving motorbike; however, it could take 30
mins if there was a heavy traffic.
Regarding when I went there. The course started when I was in grade 10 th from the
summer of 2009. At that time, It seemed to start a new journey for me such as, new
friends, teachers and environment. It was such a pleasure time going to school
every day.
In terms of what the teacher were like, I and my buddies were all very naughty so
we always had something to play around with each other or with other people,
which got us into pretty much trouble. But our teacher seldom punished us for any
of those, she was very kind and gentle with us. She taught Chemistry and always
had some interesting stories to tell the students during the lessons.
All in all, The school was my first time for everything: my very first achievements
and prizes, my first time standing on stage and my first friends. And as I’ve just
said, it is more about the people than the actual place. We have had some really
good memories together, leaving our footprints at every corner of the town. I don’t
think I could ever forget such an amazing time. All of them are like my second
family, we still keep in contact and hang out with each other occasionally to talk
about the good old days.

What you did there
Why that place it interesting
Solution:
Speaking of an interesting historic place, the first one that pops up in my mind is
the Temple of Literature located in Hanoi
First thing first, I want to talk about what the Temple of Literature is. The temple
was built in 1070 during the reign of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong in honor of
Confucius, whose deep influence on Vietnamese society’s culture and worship held
to this day. In 1076, it became Vietnam's first university.
Regard to where it is, it is located in the most populous metropolitan city of
Vietnam – Hanoi, or rather, the capital of Vietnam. Situated around 3 kilometers
from the main center of the city, it is quite convenient to take 10 mins travel by car.
If you are a newcomer, the best way to admire its beauty is to take a double-decker
bus tour that will fulfill your craving-soul.
For many years now, the Temple of Literature has also been a place of worship for
hundreds of thousands of students and their parents who believe touching the turtle
stone marking the names of scholars who passed the mandarin exams long, long
ago will bring them luck in major exams.
It draws the attention of many visitors from all around our country, and even
foreigners. I particularly take the chance to pass by the Temple whenever I’m about
to sit an exam, or to apply for a job. After each visit to the site, it seems like all the
burdens and stresses are relieved, and my heart will be fulfilled with calmness and
joy.

Describe a city that you would like to live in
Where that city is
What the city is famous for
What part of the city you would like to live in
Why you would like to live there
Solution:
Speaking of a city that I would like to live in, the first one that pops up in my mind
is Hoi An ancient city in Quang Nam province.
First thing first, Hoi An is actually an old trading port that has been preserved
almost intact. Situated in Quang Nam, a central region of Vietnam, it took nearly
30 minutes to travel by car from Danang, or rather, a municipal city.
Regard to what is famous in this city, it is a frequent name in the list of the most
beloved Vietnamese destinations. You take a stroll along its winding streets lined
with Chinese- Style shops and Japanese merchant houses and admire the Hundreds
of multi-colored silk lanterns lighting the streets at night. The best part of the city
is to take a boat ride on the Hoai River, and enjoy the mouth-watering local cuisine
which is distinctive from that is other areas such as Sprinkling-chicken rice.
Actually, I’m an open-minded person which is believed to prompt me to reside in
somewhere populous. Therefore, Hoi An is definitely my destination of choice. I
have a dream of opening a bakery store for visitors who have a sweet tooth just
like me. So that, bring a lot of smiles and fun for customers kicking back their
holiday trips in one of the most breathtaking view city would be pleasant for my
near future.

Describe a restaurant that you enjoyed going to
Where the restaurant was
Why you chose this restaurant
What type of food you ate in that restaurant
Why you enjoyed eating in that restaurant
Solution:
Speaking of the restaurant I enjoyed the most, the first one pops up in my mind is
definitely Tomatito restaurant specializing in Spain-Argentina cuisine.
First thing first, I want to talk about where it is. The place is located in the most
well-known situation in Ho Chi Minh city, Calmette road. Despite of its huge road,
the entrance of the place is quite small; also, it requires you to going up by narrow
and twisting stairs for your liking. However, It will be extremely surprising when
you reach to the second floor and first get a glimpse of the restaurant’s decoration
and space.
Regard to the first time going to this restaurant, I would say it’s totally a random
thing. It’s about the summer time, I and my friends wanted to pop over in
somewhere to get lunch and that’s must have conditioner because its pretty hot
outside. And the suggestion just came out by searching all restaurants that were
close proximity to.
At the first glance, everything on the menu is quite pricey. So we decided to pick
up just only starters. It turned out that was the best choice of us at the moment. The
cuisines are the harmony between of Agentina and Spain and also represents the
interculture of 2 countries.
