1. ‘The ozone layer and ground-level ozone are the same.’ Myth or Reality?
They’re very different: the stratospheric ozone layer shields us, while
ground-level ozone (smog) actually harms our lungs.
2. ‘Spray cans today still harm the ozone.’ Myth or Reality?
Reality—many old—and some new—propellants can still leak CFC-alternatives
that damage ozone. Always choose products labeled ‘ozone-friendly.’
3. ‘Helium balloons contribute to ozone depletion.’ Myth or Reality?
Surprising as it sounds, Myth. Helium itself doesn’t damage the ozone—though
lost balloons can wreak havoc on wildlife below.

healthcare, lost harvests, damaged ecosystems.
This isn’t sci-fi—it’s what happens when we ignore ozone depletion. Our health,
our food, our very climate depend on that invisible gas up there. Preserving it is
non-negotiable.

greenhouse gases.
• Reuse:
Reach for that refillable water bottle instead of single-use plastic.
Pass on hand-me-down electronics—every gadget you extend keeps new
manufacturing—and its ozone-harming chemicals—at bay.
• Recycle:
Sort paper, plastic, glass, and metal properly.
Support recycling drives—every ton of recycled aluminum spares
ozone-damaging emissions.
Each choice might feel small, but multiplied by millions of us? That’s a repair
crew for Earth’s protective cloak.
