A) Read the story: “Humpty Dumpty”.
Mr. Humpty Dumpty is an egg. He lives in a country far away. Humpty Dumpty likes
jumping up and down, but this is very dangerous for him. The people in town love talking to him
but they are really worried because he can fall down and break into pieces.
Every day people tell him to be careful, but Humpty Dumpty doesn’t pay
attention to the people in town. He continues jumping up and down as much as he
likes.
One day, Humpty Dumpty climbs up a high wall. He sits on top of the brick
wall. He sings and dances. Suddenly, he falls! Everybody shouts and runs for help.
Fortunately, the King’s men are near the wall. They are strong soldiers. They
see him fall and go to help Mr. Dumpty on their fast horses. Luckily, they get to the place just in
time to save him. From that moment on, Humpty Dumpty stops jumping up and down and now
he sits and sings beautiful songs for all the people in town!
