Opening Scene
Narrator: Frank was watching a series called “The Good Doctor”. In this one episode, a child
was walking in an airport when suddenly, shattered glasses fell upon him. (Insert clip ng
sinasave ni dr shaun murphy yung bata sa ep 1 ng the good doctor). Frank was amazed by the
way Doctor Shaun Murphy handled the situation leading him to his curiosity about first aid.

Narrator: The next morning, Frank excitedly joined their online class because he knows that
their lesson for the day is all about first aid.

Monbert: Good morning, class! Our lesson for today is all about first aid. Now for my first
question. What is First Aid? (Frank raises his hand) Yes, Frank?
Frank: First Aid is an emergency treatment given to an injured person before regular aid can be
obtained.
Monbert: Very Good! To further understand first aid, here are different scenarios from E-utube
that shows us what to do during an emergency.
(transition to videos)

Scenario 1 (Open Wound)
Narrator: Kat was making an origami for her valentine’s date. She was using scissors when she
accidentally cut herself.
Kat: Ouch! Where’s the first aid kit?
Narrator: Kat ran to the comfort room to get the first aid kit. (then idedemonstrate na yung first
aid for cuts) She successfully performed the first aid by being calm and knowledgeable which is
an important thing during an accident.

Scenario 2 (Food Poisoning)
Narrator: Victor and his friend were craving their favorite food. They went to the store where
they usually buy their favorite food but unfortunately the food was out of stock. Out of
desperation, his opted to try another store’s offer. He has a little doubt about how the food looks
but he still bought it anyway. He was satisfied with what he got and he was thankful, but not for
long. Half an hour passed by, he started to feel nauseous and wanted to vomit.
Victor: (Victor thought to himself) Food poisoning symptoms!
Victor: Hey, I think you were food poisoned, are you sure your food tasted fine?
Friend: Aside from the weird aftertaste it was okay
Victor: You might be food poisoned. Wait for me I’ll buy some necessities to help aid with that.
Stay away from food for a few hours to help settle your stomach down.
Narrator: Victor went out to buy some pain reliever, soup/broth and Gatorade
Victor: Here, drink some gatorade to replenish your electrolytes. Here’s some pain reliever too
to help aid with that stomach pain of yours. I also bought you some soup. Have some after you
rest, it's better to avoid heavy food during your recovery.
Scenario 3 (Choking)
Narrator: Aaron and his friend decided to have lunch at home before they go to their basketball
game. Because of excitement, his friend hurriedly eats his lunch by swallowing a large amount
of food, eventually choking him.
Friend: *coughs heavily* (maya-maya may gag reflex)
Narrator: Aaron noticed his friend’s weird behavior. He realized that his friend was choking.
Aaron: (adlib ng “ayan di ka kasi dapat nagmamadali sa pagkain”)
Narrator: Aaron stood up and instructed his friend to stand up so he can perform the first aid he
knows if someone is choking.
Aaron: Calm down. I will perform the Heimlich Maneuver. (Idedemonstrate na yung heimlich)

isama nalang sa vid na may naluwa na)

Scenario 4 (Ankle Sprain)
Narrator: After eating their lunch, Aaron and his friend continued with their plan of playing
basketball. To learn a new basketball trick, his friend tried to jump as high as possible but due to
lack of practice, it resulted in a bad landing causing him to sprain his ankle.
Friend: Ouch! My ankle hurts! Please help me!
Aaron: Okay, please calm down. Avoid moving too much.
Narrator: Aaron knew exactly what he needed to do thanks to the lessons he took for first aid.
He performed RICE. (lalabas na sa screen yung RICE na acronym pati yung corresponding
meaning kada letter sa vid habang pineperform). After he performed the first aid, he called the
emergency hotline and also informed the parents of his friend.
