Integration Formulas Clear

This document provides a comprehensive list of integration formulas for Class 12 mathematics, including basic formulas, trigonometric integrals, inverse trigonometric integrals, exponential and logarithmic integrals, and methods such as integration by substitution and integration by parts. It also covers standard rational integrals and properties of definite integrals. Each formula is presented with its corresponding integral expression and a constant of integration, C.

Integration Formulas – Class 12 (Clear &

Structured)
1. Basic Formulas
∫ k dx = kx + C
∫ x■ dx = x■■¹/(n+1) + C , n ≠ -1
∫ 1/x dx = ln|x| + C

2. Trigonometric Integrals
∫ sin x dx = -cos x + C
∫ cos x dx = sin x + C
∫ tan x dx = -ln|cos x| + C
∫ cot x dx = ln|sin x| + C
∫ sec x dx = ln|sec x + tan x| + C
∫ cosec x dx = ln|cosec x - cot x| + C
∫ sec² x dx = tan x + C
∫ cosec² x dx = -cot x + C
∫ sec x tan x dx = sec x + C
∫ cosec x cot x dx = -cosec x + C

3. Inverse Trigonometric Integrals

∫ 1/√(1 − x²) dx = sin■¹ x + C
∫ 1/(1 + x²) dx = tan■¹ x + C
∫ 1/(|x| √(x² − 1)) dx = sec■¹ x + C

4. Exponential & Logarithmic Integrals

∫ e■ dx = e■ + C
∫ a■ dx = a■ / ln(a) + C
∫ 1/x dx = ln|x| + C

5. Integration by Substitution
If I = ∫ f(g(x)) g′(x) dx, then
I = F(g(x)) + C

6. Integration by Parts
∫ u dv = uv − ∫ v du

7. Standard Rational Integrals

∫ 1/(x² + a²) dx = (1/a) tan■¹(x/a) + C
∫ 1/(x² − a²) dx = (1/(2a)) ln|(x − a)/(x + a)| + C
∫ 1/√(a² − x²) dx = sin■¹(x/a) + C
∫ 1/√(x² − a²) dx = ln|x + √(x² − a²)| + C

8. Properties of Definite Integrals

∫■■ f(x) dx = F(b) − F(a)
∫■■ f(x) dx = −∫■■ f(x) dx
If f(x) is even → ∫■■■ f(x) dx = 2 ∫■■ f(x) dx
If f(x) is odd → ∫■■■ f(x) dx = 0
