Creating an APEX Application

from spreadsheet
Logon to Oracle APEX Workspace

‘Next’

paste in the window

Paste the copied data in APEX. Click
‘Next’

APEX will analyze the pasted data and will come
up with table structure. You can edit it, if required

Enter a singular name and plural name.
Edit the labels

on ‘COUNTRY’

Select theme which will define the look and feel of
the application

For Creating a
New Record
Plural Name used here

For Editing or Deleting


an existing Record

You can edit the record as required. Notice ‘Cancel’,
‘Delete’, ‘Apply Changes’, & ‘Next’ buttons.

You can add a new record and


click on ‘Create’ button to save
the record. Click ‘cancel’ to
discard your changes.

‘Charts’
Clicking on ‘By Country’ on ‘Reports’ will
display a country wise report. Click under
the ‘Charts’ will display the data in a pie-
chart. All this without writing any single
