One thing that went well (Strength) Example During my 10 minutes presentation of pre-listening activity, I felt nervous initially but felt a little more confident when my course mates were able to follow my instructions. I believe it was because of how I had planned and written my steps in detail. I was able to rationalise my activity quite clearly and I placed myself well.
One thing that did not go so well (Weakness) Example My time management was weak. I rushed through my steps. On many occasions I found myself talking constantly filling in the silence in the room. I expected my course mates to respond actively and immediately. This made me nervous and I appeared unprepared.
What would you do differently the next time? (How to overcome weakness) Example I would allow wait-time time for my course mates/pupils to process the information before they respond. I must learn to get comfortable with silence in the room and rephrase my instructions/questions. I would also demonstrate the activity first before asking my course mates/ pupils to carry out the activity.
