Inverter Control and Current Regulation

The document discusses the control of an inverter for a renewable energy source. It involves: 1) Determining if the inverter should charge a capacitor, act as an inverter, or be inactive based on renewable power generation and load demand. 2) Generating appropriate gate signals for the inverter based on the capacitor voltage to control its operation. 3) Comparing the capacitor voltage to a reference and using a PI or PID controller to regulate the voltage by adjusting the reference current.

1) if

P renewable enegry source=0 it acts as 1, charging of capacitor or 2,dead inverter pres<total load power it acts as 1, charging of capacitor or 2,dead inverter pres>total load power it acts as 1,inverter

2) generation of appropriate gate signals to the inverter which decides the operation of inverter as (converter ,inverter ,dead inverter) 3) by studying the value of dc capacitor link voltage we can generate the appropriate gate signals. 4) Vdc 5) now compare vdc with Vdc* (in our paper 90v) Vdcerr(n)= Vdc* (n)- Vdc(n)

6) then Vdcerr(n) is send to voltage regulator block, in this block we have pi controller in our paper ,I think we can use PID controller. voltage regulator Im(n)=Im(n-1) + kp(Vdcerr(n)- Vdcerr(n-1)) +ki Vdc Vdcerr(n)
7)

reference current generator va , vb ,vc are given to PLL then we will get then ua=sin ,ub= sin(-2/3) ,uc = sin(+2/3) 8) then find Ia * =Im * ua Ib * =Im * ub reference currents were obtained Ic * =Im * uc 9) the actual values were taken 10) compare actual and reference currents then error will be calculated i.e Iaerr= Ia *-Ia Iberr= Ib *-Ib Icerr= Ic *-Ic Inerr= In *-In 11) these errors should be given to hysteresis current controller then to produce switching pulses.
