The Demonic Broom: A Surreal Journey

The Demonic Broom is a three act story about a possessed broom. In Act 1, music causes a broom to come to life and expel mini demonic cleaning tools. Act 2 shows the tools dancing around chaotically as they trap the broom. In Act 3, the broom walks up and down stairs formed by the tools, sucking them back into itself one by one until it returns to its original position by the boombox.

The Demonic Broom

Act 1
INT. ABANDONED WHITE ROOM, DAY BROOM standing upside down next to a BOOM-BOX by a door. BROOM falls onto BOOM-BOX forcing it to start, RORCHACH imagery flashes on the screen in the shape of a brush, the we see the BOOM-BOX playing music, and the BROOM begins to spin in motion like a spinning top, until standing in the middle of the floor. BROOM Gets a force-like push against the wall as if possessed. Straw within the BROOM opens up, and a parade of mini demonic brushes, mops and dustpanbrushes walk out in a order.

ACT 2
INT. STAIRWAY, DAY The final mini-brush walks out forming into stairs and the BROOM collapses to the floor. Broom stands up with Straw side up waving mentally from side to side as the Mini-Brushes chaotically dance around the room, climbing up the mini-brush stairs and running circles around the BROOM. We see a RORCHACH symbol as a transition, and the imagery forms into the shapes of the mini brushes and the BROOM in the middle, the brushes twist and turn around the BROOM trapping it and over-powering the RORSCACH imagery, The blackness from the image fades out and the

ACT 3
INT. ABANDONED WHITE ROOM, DAY BROOM is singled out, it walks to the top of the mini-brush formed stairs. And once at the top flips over, and walks down the opposing side of the stairs. We see the screen flip around as the broom was walking upside down is now walking correctly. As he walks down each step the brushes jump back into the straw from which them came. The remaining mini-mops and dustpan-brushes dance around frantically, as the BROOM whizzes, around leaving a black trail behind it collecting mini objects up as it goes. The BROOM remains back to original static position next to the BOOM-BOX as it is still playing in the background. We view the camera move around to behind the door, where there is a mini-brush peeking around the corner.
