What are the unethical practices that managers engage in, in different functional areas of business? For example, among others, some practices are discrimination while recruiting or promoting employees in HR; misleading consumers by unfair price fixation and manipulative advertising; insider trading to obtain unfair financial advantage or violating environmental laws to reduce manufacturing cost. These actions are considered unethical by either society or legality, or both of these. Researches the functional areas assigned to your group and write a detailed project report containing the following:

Description of types of unethical practices specific to a particular functional area of management. Illustrations from Indian companies depicting unethical practices that have faced legal action thereof. You may mention some Indian examples also. What are the Indian laws (you can mention some non Indian laws for comparison) which safeguard the interest of organizations, consumers and stakeholders? Collect some data (interviews and questionnaires) from practicing managers to do a reality check.
