Crows are very interesting animals. They are incredibly smart, eat nearly anything, and can fly. Crows make up the genus Corvus. They are in the family Corvidae. Crows get their name from their distinct call. Some examples of crows are Jackdaws, the American Crow, and the Common Raven. Crows are one of the most amazing animals.

Crows have a very distinctive appearance. Crows are black. They sometimes have white, grey, or brown patches. Crows are vertebrates. They have feathers. A crows eyes are located on the side of its head. They are stout bodied. They have strong bills and legs. Crows have a short tail. Crows range from 66 to 20 centimeters long. They weigh about 510 grams. They have varied wingspans. All crows look very similar.
