Devkant Sharma was awarded his graduation degree in Sciences (Non-Medical) from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India,

in 1998, the post-graduate degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, India, in 2002, and the second post-graduate degree in Computer Science Engineering ([Link].) from Lovely Professional University, Punjab India, in 2009. He has also qualified International certification programs viz. MCSA, CCNA from Microsoft inc. and Cisco inc. respectively. He has been a lecturer and associate professor with various institutes of repute like Canadian Institute for International Studies, Punjab, India in association with Thomson River University, Kamloops, Canada and Centre for Management Training & Research, Punjab, India. Currently he is working with Swami Parmanand College of Engineering & Technology, Punjab, India as associate professor and Head of Deptt. in Computer Science & Engineering. His research interests include Computer Networks, Network Security, Data Mining and Data Warehousing. At present, He is engaged in research projects in the areas of Network Security and Data Mining.
