Plasma-Assisted Methane Conversion Analysis

The document describes an experimental setup for methane conversion using plasma-assisted catalysis. Figure 1 shows a schematic of the setup including methane and oxygen mass flow controllers (MFCs), an AC power supply, plasma reactor, heating tape, catalyst, and gas chromatograph (GC). Figure 2 displays voltage and current profiles during plasma operation. Figures 3 and 4 characterize the catalyst before and after plasma treatment. Tables 1 and 2 report the effects of varying plasma power and catalyst treatments on methane conversion rates and product selectivity.
